Hormones can hit hard, especially early in transition. there's a lot going on, and it's not just physical changes. It can take a few years for some girls to get over the emotional hump. Some even opt for an orchiectomy, cause even with blockers, a hormonal transition can be extremely emotional, even harsh sometimes. Especially for someone going through the loss of family. Maybe information has changed since my transition, but no one ever told me what to expect from hormone therapy except the obvious stuff. Whenever I'd have "those moments" I'd just tell myself, "it's the hormones and everything will be OK, eventually." It's not a magic pill, but it gave me solace and helped me through the tough times. Be strong, Roxy, you got this!
I was on the same psych drug. And the no drive thing, was my thing for a bit too. I go on walks with my dog now, and now I'm off the venlaflaxine*, and I also clean alot. Accomplishing life goals also helps. Love you, :-)
Start walking every day just for pleasure, look around and notice the things around you that makes you smile:). I’ve been on the med roller coaster it’s not fun:(. We miss you here but so happy sexy biscuit is doing so well
Maybe you need a new focus. Ive heard a lot of people say that they focus so much on transition once it's complete they are kind of lost. Maybe working out what it is you want to do with your life and working towards that could be a goal to keep your mind busy. Your very young and have your whole life ahead of you and even if your not yet at the stage where your able to cope in a working environment, maybe one day you will be.
Welcome back babe! We missed you!
