I have a few items from your video like the Alma, the Speedy and the mini pochette and I absolutely adore them and so happy I got them before the prices went up a few times, they are functional and worth the price I paid for them. I would love to see a video of the items that are not worth it in your opinion, I think you are so direct and to the point about getting price per wear and that you want your viewers to learn from your experience and I want to learn from you as much as I can. Card carrying member of the Loop Hobo fan club! It's so comfortable, so versatile, and always just looks cool. Plus it's just the right amount of reverse monogram for me, personally!
Oh and yeah, as much as I hate to say it with the current prices...the mini pochette is still worth it. I've used one every single day for the last 5 years. It's the best catchall I've found!

Great video idea Meredith. Have only just started watching but In terms of the Odeon, the pm and mm mono both come with black trim, at least in the USA. Ive had the pm mono with black trim since it came out. I stalked the website. One of my most used and favorite casual bags. It comes out mostly in fall and winter. I wish they would have made it with the brown trim in the ebene and I would’ve gotten that too. But my real hope is that they make it in empreinte. I like this bag so much more than my empreinte pochette Métis. It’s lighter and a bit smaller and I think definitely cuter crossbody.
Great choices. The Alma BB in Epi leather is not much more than the canvas but they only do it in black or navy now; all the new versions are quite a bit more. The Croisette and canvas NeoNoe MM I think are still worth it too. Most original Noes are good value still. The Buci in Epi isn’t bad either. Rosalie coin purse is an excellent SLG.

Agree with your choices Meredith prob except the mini pouchette but I think this was because when I bought it, it was £185! glad I bought when I did. I am not a fan of the Pochette Metis but still think it is worth the money as it is priced well for an easy to use functional bag. If you love the style it is worth buying. x

Great video Meredith. It's amazing how much the SLG's have gone up. When I ordered my Mini Pochette, it was $350, but when it became available for me to purchase, it was $595. Glad I bought it then!
I had to have the Loop Hobo bag when it first hit the runway so I preordered it. It is a good price, however, the leather trimming was to stiff and plastic feeling for me. It was also too big for me and I like big bags. I also didn’t like where the chain hung when wearing the leather strap. This not to say what someone else, it just my opinion.
I would love a "Mom Bag" video!! I would love to one day treat my mom to an LV bag, and knowing which would be most practical while being super stylish would be helpful! Love your videos
Hi Meredith! Thanks for another great video! I love that you started with the Odeon! It's my favorite bag--and I love it so much I purchased it twice! I have the DE and the Monogram with black leather. I am tall and long-waisted and need to use a chain extender to crossbody which is frustrating, but it's great with the extender . LV straps are always too short for me--very annoying. But alas, I love this bag! :)
Excellent round up. I agree about the MM packing cube. I cannot travel without it. I ordered an organizer that mirrors, the compartments of the LV jewelry box. Lol saved myself a bunch of money.

The Carryall, Dayle has the mm in the leather. There is also a pm in leather. Both sizes in canvas. Great bag! The loop hobo GM is my number one want from LV. They are coming out with it in leather, I’m curious to see it. I think a lot of the charm is the combination of both canvases with the treated leather. Chef’s 😘 kiss! Number two is petite malle, the regular one. It will be my one dressy bag. I have both inserts for the felicie in black empreinte. I use them in bigger bags. Wouldn’t mind picking up the actual matching bag.

Awesome video, Meredith! I'm happy to see that most of my LV items (I only have a small collection) are in this list: Neverfull, Speedy, Alma, Cles, and Mini Pochettee - though I did get that last one made from an upcycled canvas by YuveeLeather because it's gotten too expensive to buy new or even preloved in my opinion. Yuvee also makes micro Metisse dupes from authentic LV canvas and I hope to get one from her in the future - it's about $300 if not mistaken.

I have had or had most of those bags however I have the odeon pm in monogram with a black strap and it’s my most used bag of all time I use it nearly everyday and for travel … when travelling I have a clip that locks the two zippers together so it’s really secure
I love your list but to add on I actually feel that the men’s keepall 25 is actually better than the lady’s speedy 25. It’s black, fuss free and fits well as a crossbody even for a lady and I don’t really like every canvas bag to be brown in colour which limits my styling at times. The men’s sac plat mini is also a good buy in my opinion as girls can easily carry that style off and it’s better than the lady’s petit sac plat which is too small for daily use.

I’m kicking myself for returning the petite Malle that my husband bought me years ago (I think 7 years ago?). It was expensive and I didn’t see the value at the time,so I bought my Neverful GM and another shoulder bag (that’s no longer produced). Although the Neverful has been my ride or die for travel for the past 7 years, I still have a tinge of regret not keeping the Petite Malle….I love my packing cubes too! Samorga makes organizers for the PM and MM and it allows me to use the smaller one for makeup (powders, eye shadows, etc). I would love your take on the items you don’t think are worth it.
Well i purchased a black Side Trunk this week w SILVER hardware. I purchased online bc I'm not near a boutique. So i got it and one of the hooks on the shoulder strap that hooks to the bag was GOLD!! So i obviously sent it back and they sent me another one. THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!! Im so heartbroken bc i LOVE that bag...but how do you spend almost 5k on a bag, after tax, and this happens twice??? Im sooo mad at LV!!!
@livingluxwithmeredith OH I definitely did and they apologized and wanted to send me another one. That would be the third bag. I'm just over it at this point. Like the excitement I had is now dread at even the thought of another one coming.
Saw the loop hobo in person. So disappointed. The canvas was thin and felt plastic ish. The chain was a thin piece of junk. Looked so beautiful in photos. Obviously did not buy it.
Definitely not worth it if you’re going to have to stored in your closet. A bag is meant to be used and abused no matter the brand. 4k for a canvass bag seems ridiculous tbh. Buy preloved or just get it fake, nobody cares tbh.
I think whatever reason you want a bag, is up to the buyer. I know people who NEVER wear certain purses and just want to see their value go up each year. To each their own 🥲

The neverfull is just such a great bag. It’s a shame to be loosing this bag. I’d replace mine immediately if anything happened to it.

Well i purchased a black Side Trunk this week w SILVER hardware. I purchased online bc I'm not near a boutique. So i got it and one of the hooks on the shoulder strap that hooks to the bag was GOLD!! So i obviously sent it back and they sent me another one. THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!! Im so heartbroken bc i LOVE that bag...but how do you spend almost 5k on a bag, after tax, and this happens twice??? Im sooo mad at LV!!!

These bags and slgs maintain their value and increase if they are well maintained. They definitely are not just a bag.
