@@Rooted-TS I love watching tree work videos I'm trying to get into the the profession myself I've done several of my courses I was trying to look for a youtuber in the UK who uploads more often even if they're small trees you could still upload them they still interesting it shows people are we do it over here the Safeway I don't know if you would but if you don't have time to upload or edit the videos you could always get an editor if you wanted to
Aaron Johnstone Yes at the start i did suffer, i found it was more of a posture problem. Funnily enough driving a landrover the seating position is very good for my back. I did pull mine the other day on the simplest of ways, it’s usually when your not expecting it when you pull your back. G
made a bit of a meal of this dint they?? was they longing it out for the video? i would have felled this straight up the driveway pulled with the truck obviously or if anything taken the limbs off (pollard) and maybe sectional fell the butt down so far and fell the butt in the wood side or down the drive, have the groundsman put some brash branches on the ground to stop damage and keep the timber off the ground to ring up (cut into log rings)(Peterborough uk)
another profile pic of mine showing a tree aimed and felled through a open gate in a crematorium boundary fence with no damage..... more pics and vids to prove we dont mess about taking trees down.... get the job done as quickly as possible using experience and skills to do the job safely and quickly as possible without longing it out having groundsmen standing chipping 1 branch at a time getting paid for standing leaning on the chipper waiting for the next branch to come down...... bet they freeeeeze their tits off in winter thinking hurry up and give us some work..... i know coz ive been there myself...... its cold and damp. anyway should get the tree down thick and fast have us groundsmen (yes im a chipper feeder not a climber, the chainsaw re fueler the joey) im just having this debate coz the people i learned everything about tree work (my dad) this is how he cuts trees and has thought me to work as he does, i was on the ropes and the lowering / rigging kit ect im not lying about what i say!!! im being honest coz its how ive always done it and how i was tort from me old man i wasnt being funny at all!!!!
