Now that my NCLEX date is getting closer I decided to make a NCLEX 30 DAY CRAM PLAN for myself and you all!
IN this video I will go through the NCLEX resources that I am using , how I am laying out my daily study plan with the number of pages you need to read each day and the number of questions you need to do daily to make sure you get through the entire Saunders NCLEX RN book and the UWorld Test bank
I got the 90 day UWorld Test Bank with the two self assessments even though I would use the entire subscription time.

Girl you are the bomb. I wish I was so focused as you at your age. I totally love you. I study using U world alone and had all the questions memorized I got in the 90s in my self test and when I went to do my exam not one question from Uworld came my mistake was memorizing the questions and not focusing on the content more so when the questions came placed differently that threw me. I was expecting the questions to come in the way U world had it. But U world is great it gave me a wealth of info. I would advise ppl to focus less on studying questions just understand all the systems and everything else tested in nclex. I m listening to your plan and that is how I should have used Uworld. It’s a great program but your knowledge comes from content so no matter how a question comes you will win.
The nclex was way easier then i expected I came out with the minimal amount of questions and thought to myself " I killed that shit or tanked it 😂" Mr Louis really helped me pass my nclex guys I think we should all try Mr Louis;

I took my PN EXAM April 12,2022. I Pass WITH 109 questions. Don’t be scared. Be positive and if you are a believer just live everything in God hands after your studies, Don’t lean to your own understanding you will fail. The importance is to pass and not the numbers of questions. I used UWORD and Mark klimek only to study. When I finished my exam my spirit was calm and I had that inside peace. You should have a plan for study and time to relax. NCLEX is just straight forward. Proverbs 3:5.
April 13,2022 UPDATE!!!!! I went to Virginia board of nursing and I PASS. So since yesterday I didn’t check or use the trick for checking result. I just have faith by posting without knowing my result and trust GOD IN THE PROCESS. Glory to him.🙏🙏

This is Amazing :) This Is Also How I Studied. I Read Saunders NCLEX Cover to Cover. Then at the end of each Subject/ System I’d answer the Same System on UWorld and study the Rationales

This has been such a helpful guide to help me develop my study plan! How did you divide up the fundamentals UWorld questions with the Saunders book since that section isn’t as specific as the other topics (med surg, peds, etc)?

I would go through the categories that way you are getting a mix of questions if you are short on time but I did both!

Hello friends i just want to share my Nclex experience with you all. I took my Nclex 15/10/2020 and i made it. Just going through RUclips i saw many viewers commenting and giving testimonies so i decided to put mine with intend to inspire that friend frustrated cause he/she has failed Nclex once twice or more don't give up. Hi Leslie! Im curious to know how you remediate your questions.. Do you simply read through the rationales? Or will you take the time to re-write? Or maybe create flashcards for what you get stuck on? I feel like I need to be doing all of the above and more but the time crunch is getting real! Any guidance?
Hi Leslie, When you study with the Saunders Comp book, did you take notes or just read through the information? I have the Saunders 7th edition but its a lot of condensed info and I fell like I'm taking more time making notes from that book then actually studying and retaining the information.
Hey! I just read through the information and highlighted short bits, but also wrote down things that I KNEW I would miss or kept missing. Try starting with quick highlights and after reading a few pages talking outloud to yourself what you read to see if you can recall it correctly!

its almost the same. Its only the pages and position of pictures/ graphics that changed. I liked more 7th Edition than 8th.
Hello! I've heard that going through the entire book is not too helpful. I have heard to go through the chapters you are not solid on and test on EVERYTHING. You might get burn out if you do it this way. I'm, not an expert or anything, I'm just studying just like you:)) Good luck to you!
Yes! That is true! I just wanted to make sure that I was covering everything so I could walk into the test as confident as possible. I have super bad test anxiety and my brain will overthink everything if I have the feeling like I wasn't fully prepared!

Hi I'm when I take my assessments on uworld I end up spending an hour for 10 questions. I read the rationale but I don't want to spend that much time. I have my NCLEX scheduled next month . Hi! What were you getting when did the qbank? My average when doing those are either 50s or low 60s. Is that ok?
Don’t worry about that focus on your content because nclex questions are differently phase and it can confuse you but if you have your content down you’ll get if and finish your exam faster. I wished I knew this but Uworld is really good as a reference don’t worry so much about yr grades on it. Best of luck

Hi did some of the questions in the Saunders book or u world.....look the same or alike 🤔
I only had the questions at the end of the chapters because I was using a USED book. Some of them asked about the same topics so I made sure to pay attention to those since both resources seemed to think those were important!

R Monts hi! Thank you!! So I went by the Saunders subjects! In my previous video on how to make your NCLEX study plan I gave way more detail but..
1. List out the subjects on a separate piece of paper (peds, pharm, L&D, adult health, mental health, etc. ) then divide those into separate days! [maybe just for the first week to see your weak points in questions and readings]
2. Then for the second week go back and find which topic you are struggling with the most and where your scores are lower. Right now mine are peds and leadership and management so now I do two days for peds and two days for leadership and management or do extra questions with rationales for those

Thank you so much for creating this video! I am starting to study for the NCLEX now while in nursing school (we can take it while we finish the program). I have a couple questions that came by while I did my first two day trials lol
1. I am wondering if you took notes while you studied/reviewed Uworld rationales. I am starting to do that and find it very time consuming.
2. Did you take the Uworld practice questions in the "tutor" or "test" mode. I did both. I found the tutor mode more effective to review right after. But an instructor mentioned to do test mode to build your stamina. What did you find most effective?
3. Did you take a break between reading the chapter and Uworld questions or did you go straight to questions right after with your POMODORO method?

Yes I took notes on key points and things I kept missing and I use my iPad so it’s searchable on my GoodNotes app!
I used test mode so I didn’t get used to the instant gratification of knowing if I got it right or wrong ! And I found that most effective!! I used the pomodoro method for all and sometimes would throw in reviewing in the Saunders book within my focus timeframe !
At any moment did you do a set of questions of all the topics? since the nclex is randomized. that’s my only worry about studying by topic

it depends on your school. they should send your official transcript to boards of nursing. I think it takes 2-3 weeks. once boards receives your school transcript they will evaluate and then you should be able to receive your authorization in a week or so. basically it should be 2-4 weeks process.

Heyy! Thanks for sharing. How did you split up sections that were more than 36 pages long?
I have the 8th edition of Saunders and cardiac is 59 pages , resp 37 pages.
I really liked the way you split up the sections and I plan to split it up the same way.
But I feel it will take me about 2 weeks to get through cardiac alone if I only did 36 pages a day.
Please lmk any advice you have!
Hi! so sections that are longer than 36 pgs, I just read the 36 pages and tack on the remaining to the next day. UNLESS I have some extra time in the day to finish that topic. Med Surg topics are a good example, they are long and super detailed so I want to make sure that I am retaining all the content so on some days instead of reading extra pages in my free time I will re-read the content I read earlier that day and make sure I understand fully the topic.

How did you study pharmacology and memorize lab values

I usually learn and recall information from writing it down over and over again but with medications and pharmacology I need audio and visuals because if we are being honest, there are wayy too many things to remember when it comes to medications!

BUT REMEMBER! you need to know the general ranges so you can detect outliers quickly!
It is also about knowing which lab values are more critical. ex low pH or low O2

The nclex was way easier then i expected I came out with the minimal amount of questions and thought to myself " I killed that shit or tanked it 😂" Mr Louis really helped me pass my nclex guys I think we should all try Mr Louis;

Do you really think that is true? There is no telling what is on the NCLEX but I really believe that reviewing the information and refreshing your knowledge is helpful!
