Jimin is the announers and uses sign language a few times - this is for ARMY. Remember the Smeraldo flower is used in BTS' songs. The band is PDogg and the other guys that helped write this song. His last hand movement is Joy. It sounds like an invitation to 2025... turn up the lights let the music play... He was inspired by the Beatles - Sargeant Pepper

❣️Jimin’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band”, is basically an ever so uplifting, filled with joy & happiness, love song, mainly for army who he references numerous times, like when mentioning “it started on June 12”, which was the actual debut of BTS where they met army for fist time during a performance showcase. BTS official debut performance was next day on June 13. Also in the dance, the choreography, especially the one that’s made as a dance challenge on tiktok, Jimin is even doing in sign language, the hand signs, for I love you, while dancing, ❤️ 👍🙏🥰☺️
The song also is in reference, an homage to the Beatles, as well as Beatles album Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, which Jimin used as inspiration, even singing lyrics “I want to hold your hand”! An excellent clue already happened in the vid: “A Day with Jimin in NYC by vogue, (perhaps you might want to watch it), which was basically a behind the scene, filmed during the time Jimin debuted “Like Crazy” on Jimmy Fallon show last yr. same day his album FACE dropped. It showed Jimin, before going to a dance practice, rehearsing Like Crazy for Fallon tonight show, going to a record store, along with producer Pdogg, who worked along side of Jimin throughout both albums FACE & MUSE. where Jimin pulled out that very record by the Beatles Sgt. Also Jimin & Loco singing live, aside from using mics, even wearing ear-ins. ️The “backup band” consists of legendary, genius producer Pdogg, who worked with BTS since beginning as producer & songwriter, also producers GHSTLOOP and EVAN, all 3 also worked alongside with Jimin for his first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as for MUSE his 2nd album that will be released July 19 KST, July 18 in other time zones. During the documentary for FACE, there was even a fun quiz segment where all 4 named themselves Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, which at the time, no one had any idea other then it was just for fun! 🙏😅🤣😍

✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. Jimin’s quite successful first album FACE, still charting worldwide! The seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), according to a billboard article, will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.)
Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks.
The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.”
Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart.

This is one of the most enjoyable but yet also so informative behind the scenes I’ve seen! It shows once again, just like with everything else Jimin does, including his other MV’s just how hands on, just how much involved Jimin was! Including the concept, imagery, vision, the look he had for the MV! Plus all the ideas he had that he put into play! All the while keeping everything as lighthearted, fun & enjoyable! Jimin even oversaw the filming to make sure the final shoot would meet with his approval! Jimin keeps amazing me more & more, though I shouldn’t be surprised anymore! I mean Jimin writes the lyrics composes melody, involved with producing, then is even hands on, on every level during filming! People may think this is a simple song. If you know music you’ll realize how complex it is. Bts never does anything straightforward. Never! From the nostalgia of the 60’s to the references of the Beatles to the clothes he’s wearing. The carnival sounds are brought back from face. The lyrics have double meaning if you really look. He talks about love. Being honest. Saying what you feel. We went through jimins dark moments through face. Betrayal, depression, using alcohol as a way to mask pain, and finally begging almost for the demons to set him free. Muse is the aftermath. What happened to Jimin after his awakening? He found himself. No more hiding who he is. To be honest from now on. What inspires him? Well we know closer to this, it was the members and army. Here it’s the inspiration of owning who you are and love. He made wise choices here. Singing live maybe to give a nudge to the haters. He created a dance that everyone can learn. He added sign language. He wanted us to feel joy and we did. With the release of “who”, I can’t wait what he will tell us next.

Smeraldo flower is a reference from the song “truth untold”. He makes reference to this flower in this song as well. But I think the “marching band” part is sort of an inside joke.

Sorry to disappoint you but this song is for ARMY. Look at the lyrics especially "it’s started on June 12th" in reference to the presentation of their first single "No More Dream".
I should say that there are parts destined to Army but other parts are related to a love that he has being hiding, and definitely his love for Army has NEVER been hidden. He is sending a clear message here with so many important details... The sunflowers, for example.
