I'm here because I just watched "Tips from a Shipwright" talk about building an "Orca" type ship. Naturally I like to look for models because they are more within reach for me than building a full size ship or boat. Enjoyed seeing your build! Quite seaworthy, too!
Hi Jonathan, it is something I have considered & I retire in 10 months time. My boat took me 3-4 months part time to build , quite a lot of time & material costs.
This is one of the best model of the orca I've ever seen. Good work. I've been looking for an orca plan for years. How much would you want for your plans? I would love to have one.
Great model an very well built. And cool figures. What size is the boat and how big are those figures? Im planning to build an ORCA of my own, so i watched your video for inspiration. Greetings from sweden
Impressive model and skill. I have a tribute model to the film bulit some years ago. I am presently doing some renovation and ask if you made the transom inner plates and vents. Thank you
Quint named his boat Orca because orcas are the top predator of the ocean, not great white sharks. Yes the shark in the second movie killed an orca but that was just an anomaly for dramatic effect.
Hi there. I was wondering with small pieces such as the ladder, pole, chair, light, exhaust pipe, shark mouth etc... when you get the plane do those pieces come with the plans or?
