When using unlimited leverage, u need exactly 0 margin. So basically your whole equity is free margin Point no.2 with unlimited leverage, u can take as many lots as u csn possible fit in a 1 pip move. In his case he started with 0.01*3 thats $0.3 per pip. Leaves enough for commissions and spreads. Im very sure he mustve tried a couple of times before taking off

I deposited $1k on that xm broker account, and they give bonus of x2 your account, so if you deposited $500 you will be having $1 and you can trade upto - $500, so it will show $1 incase you lost $499 on your $500 deposited but in actual sense your able to open $500 trade which acts as your bonus, so free magin and actual money won't make sense but you actual making money with your bonus.
2 Things: 1. He might be an I.B. collaborating with his broker to fool people and get many fools, oops, i mean customers for the broker to scam 2. Since he doesnt show the trading account number, he probably has multiple demo accounts, and gets to edit the winning demo account and with many demo accounts being able to be resetted to any account balance, he's doing massive editing out of something like 20 accounts!
