On another RUclips channel I saw someone debark a limb by chucking it in the lathe and using a wood rasp to remove bark. Your laser medallion is a great addition too. A very beautiful piece of art! But highly inpractical as a flower pot. The bottom must overflow with water every time you pour water into the pot.

Yes the epoxy resin seals the wood definitively, moreover the water does not stagnate because it is evacuated from the bottom 😉👍
