What good is a #1 defense when you have a bottom of the pack offense and coach? Awesome if this guy stays healthy he might help our defense. However we have no real back-ups for him. We need a DT not a TE. Hard to utilize any TE or WR if your QB sucks or is constantly getting sacked.
Been a Raiders fan for over 50 years and for the last 25 years we have failed to make a good or decent player in the 1st round that was signed to another contract by us. Most were failures and pushed out of the NFL or took back up positions for other teams. Not one of them was worth the pick or the money we paid them. As for not trading up this proves Telesco is an ass clown. There were 12 picks before us and teams willing to trade. Not saying we should have but getting a star QB and sacrificing 3 1st round picks wouldn't have hurt us at all. I mean considering we have failed making a 1st round pick for 25 years what would we be losing?
So be as hyped as you want/ My prediction is 4-13 giving us a top 4 pick in next years draft. However because AP will lose badly this year we will also probably be hiring yet another HC. Meaning most of our talent who wish to maybe win a SB will be leaving.
For a team that needs to win now this years first round pick shows no move towards completing that task. No TE drafted in the 1st round has ever helped his team win his rookie year. A DT, a DE, a QB, a LB, even a CB or safety, and the OL make impacts right away. WR's and TE's take a couple years for them to develop into top tier players. Neither position is a 1st year impact for a team. Just going off of real stats. So tell me how is this a good pick for this years coming season? How is a rookie under sized TE going to help us win versus a player from any of the positions I mentioned earlier?

It was no joke before, line play was rough and a rookie qb that played 9 games , but we could still light you up. Just took getting rid of McDumbass to do so.
Line got much better, added more weaponry, and the coaching staff is complete and ready to show off.
We didn't take a qb cuz we have two fully capable winners. Keep hating or enjoy the evolution with the rest of us, gonna be sweet ☠🤘
