After she died, we looked at old photos and found a few videos. Years ago I filmed my boyfriend playing with Hatsu and in the video my boyfriend looks at me (at the camera) and asks: "Why are you filming me?" and I replied "So we have memories to look back on." And in real time we looked at each other and teared up. As we kept watching, my boyfriend in the video did something funny and I laughed and he asked why I was still filming and I said "So we have something to make us laugh when we're sad."
And it felt so overwhelming, as if we were talking to our future selves. But as a reminder - do take those photos and videos.

Yeah, it's not weakness it's just being vulnerable and honest and I think it completely natural.
His official name is Mato. But we call him Ciciak, because a cute name to call a cat in my language is cica (basically kitty), but Ciciak could also mená sucker 😅 cats always have weird names.
