It's not Anime Dialog that's bad. Sure Shonen (your typical normie anime) can be bloated but VA works is bad for Anime dub because they tend to immitate "Anime" sound. If they try to play with accent and normal english sound Anime dub can work. Take advantage of what english can give. What works with Japanese may not work with English.
In Marvel Rivals, agree, Jap and Chinese voice actors are bad. Because they're Western characters. Not because its overall japanese or chinese voice actors are bad. It sound like you judge all eastern voice actors on every animated series as bad. I dont want western VA to voice Jap or Chinese animation either, they usually sound bad, not all of course

English Hulk has a bit or a raw energy. Other languages just put on a monster filter, but this one has a bit of a roar in it. Love it. Genuine surprise since I often hear good roars in anime. Chinese Venom sounds slightly like some bubbling crude oil, that is a good exception. Japanese Wolverine lacks this wet throat exhaling jitter. Chinese Rocket laughs like a gremlin. Quite fitting. Namor and Jeff are consistent, good job translation department.
Usually in games with multiple voiced languages, one usually falls flat, but it feels like the team was picky on making sure every voice worked and sounded intimidating coming from each hero.
As someone who used to be Sub > Dub. I grew a new appreciation to English voice acting because of the range of accents that you don’t usually hear with JP va.
I would like a national setting in these kind of games, just for fun and multi-lingual people, that give everyone their original spoken language. It would be kinda wild imo

My favorites from JP and Chinese: 3:20 Storm sounds really menacing in Japanese, I like it 4:12 Magik in Chinese sounds actually really good 7:19 Rocket's laugh 😂😂 I must say though, they did NOT do justice for Moonknight with his JP voice, it just doesn't fit Moonknight. Even Mantis sounds more imposing than him in the Japanese version.

English Hulk has a bit or a raw energy. Other languages just put on a monster filter, but this one has a bit of a roar in it. Love it. Genuine surprise since I often hear good roars in anime.
Chinese Venom sounds slightly like some bubbling crude oil, that is a good exception.
Japanese Wolverine lacks this wet throat exhaling jitter.
Chinese Rocket laughs like a gremlin. Quite fitting.
Namor and Jeff are consistent, good job translation department.
Usually in games with multiple voiced languages, one usually falls flat, but it feels like the team was picky on making sure every voice worked and sounded intimidating coming from each hero.
