Sign of a good side winning even though weren't at our best & we did, Wilson is fast becoming a legend here, his passion,positivity is class, jobe,mundle, were great & nice to see Neil put in good performance after all the negativity last few days

We weren't at our best ,but we ground out a hard win against a team that were also working hard , however, the referee was atrocious and missed so many fouls .
@@malcolmdonnison3987 we were clearly better team though & deserved our victory, yes that's the championship for you with regards to referee so inconsistent
@@malcolmdonnison3987 Ref had a weird perception of what a foul is and what constitutes a yellow card.
The biggest positives to come from that game is 3 points, clean sheet, another game where we've bounced back from a defeat which is good and we've finally took advantage of teams like West Brom and Blackburn slipping up and capitalised to go top of the table, yet to concede a goal at home which is quite impressive and most importantly we've won our first 4 games at home so already we're making the SOL at fortress which is what it should be, in terms of the actual performance if I'm being honest I don't think we've played really well since the Portsmouth win, it's like the first 4 games compared to the last 4 games is chalk and cheese, it wasn't brilliant but we got the job done and that's the most important thing, I thought we played well and had control of the game for about 30-35 minutes of the first half and about 10-15 of the 2nd half, in the last 4 games I do feel like we sit back far to much, against stronger sides I completely understand and away from home at times it makes sense but against a side like Derby I feel like with our quality we could've done a lot more, maybe we've got the Leeds game in mind that could've been a factor but at the end of the day we won that game cos we've got more quality than Derby, a fantastic goal by Jobe and a poachers finish from Isidor was really encouraging and good to see, in terms of performances this might be a shock but I'm gonna give Patto MOTM, I thought it was a very strong commanding performance from him and he made 2 vital saves, 1 in the first half right after we scored and 1 in the 2nd half from close range, he dealt with every cross well and he was actually doing the proper sweeper keeper role which is something I've always spoke about where he's normally to hesitant to come off his line and with Patto I want to see that more cos I know he can do it, also special mentions for Jobe and Isidor for the goals and Mundle was a constant threat all game for Derby, overall result better than the full 90 performance but it's a vital win and we move on to Leeds on Friday, bring em on HWTL 🔴⚪🔴⚪
Not the best but we are getting there the team is still learning with reggies direction !! Jobes goal was stunning & Wilson took his well can't wait for Leeds No Love lost there 😮😮
We were not at our best but still won against a very useful Derby side. I believe if we are to win promotion, we need to keep winning such games irrespective of whether we play well or not. Rigg was very quiet. Neil was still not convincing. My MOM was again Mundle....this lad is great! The ref was a disaster as you said. I think the subtitution at 70 mins was OK. Derby did start to tire towards the end and maybe thats why the subs came on when they did. RLB continues to impress!
Great result, unfortunately forgot to put my prediction in as away on holiday!
Think Mepham had to take their player out. Not sure where Hume was but we needed to stop the attack.
Mundle was a thorn in their side and defended well. Constant threat and maybe should put more crosses in to get more out of Isidor. Roberts was ok but didn't have the best game. Rigg a bit quieter than usual.
Thought Jobe was good but caught ball watching a couple of times... Waiting for the ball to arrive and getting cut out by one of their players. Goal was spectacular.
Cirkin good at times but let their winger through a few times.. same at against Watford.
Though we started pretty slowly, then the game became a bit scrappy as wayward passes from both teams seemed to be the norm. Then came that thunderbolt from Jobe!!
We definitely needed win to take us into Friday game Wayne but well have ta do better in the 1st half TBH ill go 1.1 it will be a big test to see how good we think they should 🤞🤞
Leeds will be a big test we have to be at our best FTM
@@GaryHoyle-p6i they haven't been fantastic this season Leeds, I personally think they aren't as good as last season Summerville,gray,kamara, Rutter, all sold, ampadu is injured so yes it will be a test but I'm confident at home we can beat them
Thought they would win convincingly and they did ,top of the league again and doing well,now next game a test Leeds who are in good form ,but still think Sunderland can beat them 2 1

We are getting away with some poor performance only loosing 1 thats good so we're iether going to turn it on big style and stuff someone or collapse and get stuffed, soome players are loking tired so hopefully we don't get stuffed on friday 1 0 will do
Feels like we watched different games, I thought Mundle tortured them every time he went down the wing, we defended comfortably and Derby never really looked like much of a threat.
