Welcome everyone. You join me today taking a Class 2 HGV for its service after completing my short delivery run to a construction site. This is the first footage on this channel of any HGV driving; don't worry, the ASDA content will still be uploaded!

alright mate, might be some use to your now you're on the wagons
4x2 = 18tonne
6x2= 26tonne
8x4= 32tonne
Artic Unit with 2 axles = 38tonne
Artic unit with midlift/tag axle 44tonne
I had a chuckle at you saying the DAF LF is comfortable, youll see the difference when you get in a proper wagon. MAN are my favourite but ive driven everything!
also just a tip make sure you turn the orange key on the tailift off when not using it or you'll wake up in the morning and wont be able to start the truck
Also DAF stands for Doesn't Always Function 🤣
Thank you for the info! The other week I drove a 2024 plate Mercedes Acros… that thing was awesome, huge cab.. lots of tech (maybe a bit too much..) a huge bed but it had a FRIDGE! I was so hyped about the fridge.. lol.

Hi people looking to get my Class 2 wagon license for the wagon, Can some one explain on how to go about the procuders? Thank you
So the procedure is as follows:
• go on the government website, search something like get HGV license
• apply for a provisional, select the relevant catagories (HGV, bus, etc)
• print out medical form and get a medical complete with doctor
• send medical and provisional application form to DVSA
• when the provisional is added to your license you can book the three theory tests… hazard perception, main theory and driver CPC module
• undertake physical driver training at an approved place, this can be found online
• pass the physical elements, including CPC parts… on road test, off road manoeuvre and vehicle check / CPC competency
Once passed you have your license.. alternatively you can do an apprenticeship or go through a company you work for (some companies offer internal routes).
