But FIFA is not known to employ mathematicians. 2. mistake: Algeria for not winning against Chile or Germany with a larger margin, or drawing Austria. A simple computation on their side would have revealed that they needed to do more. 3. mistake: Germany and Austria had no other choice but playing the game they did. If Germany risks more, they concede the equalizer, are out of the tournament, and millions of German fans would be upset ("why did you idiots risk more for nothing?"). If Austria risks more, they concede a second goal, are out of the tournament, and millions of Austrian fans would be upset ("why did you idiots risk more for nothing?"). Well, they weren't idiots because they didn't risk more for nothing. It's the commentators (who were not on the pitch, feeling the same pressure) in this video who totally disregard that both teams only had one choice: play the 1:0 to the end.

Genau das war es,ein Organisationsfehler,die letzten beiden Spiele in der Gruppe wurden zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten angesetzt.
Weshalb die Aufregung?

Fuck of it was a fixed match to get Algeria out and you just say it was there mistake and the ones how fixed the match are not to blame
