Yo everyone, thanks for the nice comments 🙌 They make Stefan's and my day every time. This was our first real long-form video, and my days, it was a lot a lot more work than we expected in the beginning 💀 (we thought “Yeah 2 weeks maximum”, but then it turned into 3+ months)
Btw. we shortened the intro, plus changed our Title + Thumbnail like 5 times, and now we finally see a positive uptrend in watch time and CTR (click through rate)
Don’t pin us down on it, but we are aiming to release the 2nd lore video in that style around December this year 👨🍳

I started following you like way way back and to me there have always been something special about your edits. Obiviously the quality is the best in the genre, but I honestly also think the execution is which is a very rare thing.
When I feel oversaturated from all the other content in the genre I genuinely just watch all your content from start to finish, yet somehow I never get that burnout from oversaturation and just enjoy it every time. You truly have something special and timeless here.

i seriously thought from the beginning that arcane was going to be kinda like American Horror Story where the first season was Zaun and Piltover, then they'd do a Noxus and Demacia. then a Shurima. i was super disappointed to find that that wasnt that path lol

My dream was for Riot to make an Arcane spin-off about Shurima. This was always my favorite story piece. This is the closest thing to my dream that we are gonna get. And I'm NOT disappointed.
Same, one of the best stories in the lore period. A lot had to be rewritten to give us Arcane season 1, but an Ancient Shurima storyline wouldn't need many changes.

I really wanna cry so hard bc of this story. So tragic, especially when Azir just didnt said that he had been planning to free all “workers” but instead he acted like he broke the promise… Just… Just 1 mistake turned out to be a freakin desaster for Shurima and potentially the entire world (bc of Xerath)
Xerath would probably go nuts anyway because of the magic he learned, just not that fast.
"hey Azir are u gonna free the slaves like you promised?"
"SHUT THE FK UP DON'T TALK TO ME" [secretly plans to free the slaves like he promised]
He did say it though. He said it to Xerath, but his plans were already in motion so he betrayed Azir anyway. He was too far gone at that point.
This is one of the biggest plotholes regarding the lore of Shurima actually. The story explains why did Azir not abolish slavery very quickly, but not why he didn't tell about his plans to Xerath. Saving it for the "big surprise" doesn't really make sense, and its the doom of Shurima we are talking about :D

This is the only format i choose to watch league lore vids from now on.
8:20 to 9:06 is the epitome of epicness, seeing Azir going through some Rocky work out, then training with Renekton Chan while some EPIC Synth slowed Crazy Frog is playing in the background. Then Xerath brain becoming so large by studying corn in the royal library is just absolute MASTERPIECE.
