Yh, that is very true. I think Writer’s dont get paid enough for scripts and that’s why they don’t put much effort and only churns out mediocre and subpar bullshit. Also, i heard many of these movies don’t even have a complete script to begin with, director just makes shit up as they shoot the film.
Another problem is that too much of the budget is gone to paying actor’s salary and not enough on the production of the movie which is also why whenever there’s small CGI or VFX scene in a movie it always looks terrible and like its from 2005.
Just a lot of problems in general but weirdest one by far is old actors still playing hero roles with 20 something year old actresses.

Saif Ali Khan was Deepika's hero in Race 2, Deepika is married to Ranveer Singh, and Ranveer Singh was Sara Ali Khan's hero in simmba.
@you are worth it actually film producers don't want good writers or they just don't care about story anyway. Movie script is being the least important thing in Bollywood.
