I love BlazBlue but even a BlazBlue fan like me has to admit that it dosen't have what Guilty Gear had. Something is missing. Guilty Gear just has that "thing" about it that makes it beyond extreme
Eh... for me blazblue went a bit too horny at points and too kingdom heartsy at others. GG also has a crazy story but you can still follow it without tons of background.

Man nostalgic the first time i saw guilty gear was ggx in gamepro Magazine. I was really hard into Anime at that time. At my Birthday i got some money and went to the electronics store and was so flashed when i saw GGX in Store and picked that up with Soul Calibur 2. Damn that was the times loved both games so much.
I just realized that first shot of Sol looks entirely too complacent, it's not like him to be so... not angry. He looks dazed, like he just smoked the most powerful bowl of weed the earth has ever produced or something. So strange...
Preference is cool, but downplaying the new song is kinda mean, being that Daisuke Ishiwatari, who not only made the entire series on his own from the ground up but also is the lead composer, most likely felt strongly about wanting new music for a new title. Sure, you don't have to like it, but just consider that Daisuke doesn't want to bore us with the same old thing everytime. If it's any help, the new song helps you appreciate the old one more, does it not? Personally though, I like 'em both

It's hard to dub something well. Even if the visuals are supposed to be language-less, the theme/message/feeling/aesthetic behind it is still made with a certain language in mind; it's hard to really convey it well in another one.

I know it's not the song or it's writer's fault, but it just doesn't appeal to me. It's worthy of the GG series, but I can't listen to it without wondering what an updated Fatal Duel would have sounded like. While I'm certain I would have been more satisfied with that as opposed to what we got, I know Daisuke doesn't share that opinion, and I respect his decision.
This song has such a different mood compared to Nothing out of the Ordinary... that song gives off a chill vibe. It's like, "Hey, you play the same character I do? Cool. Shall we?" Where this song gives off a more epic vibe. "What, mirror match!? SERIOUS BUSINESS. SOMEONE NEEDS TO DIE, NOW." I definitely like this song better, I really can't fathom what possessed them to think they needed a whole new theme for same character matches, of all things.

I played almost every series of fighing games but none compare to GG characters and designs. Radical jet simple.
imo I think Blazblue music is way more epic
both guilty gear and Blazblue is godlike and underrated series, GG music is more heavy metal and Blazblue is more variety powermetal anime
