can we do POST HTTP request for sending images to geoserver !! i have searched alot but didnt find any reference material that could help me . PLEASE HELP ME SIR
I think it is not possible for the non-georeferenced image but you can create the false georeference image from Qgis and publish it as a image. If you are talking about just a post request in GeoServer, please have a look into this video: ruclips.net/video/nXvzmbGukeE/видео.html
@@geodev Sir, thank you for your reply :) Actually my question is I have my image in raspberry PI and geoserver in a client system i have to send the image in raspberry pi to geoserver . CAN I DO THIS USING WCS REQUEST OR HTTP POST request without using API .
@@rajithapavaniappalabhatla9355 I got it. If your respberry PI supports the python programming, you can submit your image via geoserver-rest python package as I mentioned previously or you can create the post request for the raster using this document: docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/api/#1.0.0/coveragestores.yaml The implementation of the geoserver-rest image upload function is here: github.com/gicait/geoserver-rest/blob/master/geo/Geoserver.py#L412 I hope it will help you!
