You have reminded me the initial days of KC where we didn't have control over the Prasadam because I heard in one lecture of Srila Prabhupada where he was telling that "We should take Prasadam up to the neck" and I felt "Wow!!! Srila Prabhupada is telling us to take Prasadam in full" And I started following it as we all love Prasadam😊 but one day again Srila Prabhupada told in his lacture that "We should take Prasadam as much as to keep Body & Soul together" and I started wondering How to take this Both instructions. But as days passed and Conversation with devotees came to know that initially when we step down into KC we should take Prasadam full so that we can't hanker for Bhoga but as we advance in spiritual life we should minimize it and take as much as require. You already know the answer but I am trying nevertheless. In the beginning of Bhakti Yoga, one should eat more Prasadam to purify consciousness. However, as you advance (doing 16 rounds, following 4 regulative principles and moving forward for Hari Naam diksha) under the guidance of your Shiksha guru, must start avoiding Atyahaar. A simple trick, as done by full time temple devotees, is to take morning prashadam at 10 am and evening prashadam before sunset. Might be different at the beginning, but it is very much possible. Also important to cook bhoga with good consciousness. Mindset of cook must be of "Cooking for Krishna". So it would obviously be Satvik (low in spices, salt, sweet, saur, bitter). Cook the bhoga how Krishna likes and not how my family likes. I hope I haven't overstepped. Hare Krishna. 😊🙏

We all should eat measured food which will not feel us uncomfortable. But for our uncontrollable food eating habits makes us uncomfortable and that's why we have to go for a diet. Even i also fell into this problem now..hare krishna

Yes Prabhu ji . Take as much as you can . And don't worry , because Prasadam cannot make anyone sick or cause disease as it is non different from Lord Krishna and is sat-chit-anand . So how can it cause disease . Diseases are the results of material Karmic Actions and taking & honoring Prasadam is not Karma . The problem is after taking Prasadam or too much Prasadam generally people do not work in the same capacity . As a result Prasadam starts gathering in the the shape of thick belly and neck etc. So work as much as you can . Use your mouth , legs and hands too too much in the service of Lord Krishna so that Prasadam gets a way to spread throughout the material body and thus finally you shall be able to observe perfect reflection of your spiritual form . I am addicted to pleasing the tongue and reading whatever i want whenever i want and it makes me look and feel awful. I recommend intermittent fasting. Eat breakfast and lunch, but no dinner or snacks. Eat between 9 am and 3 pm but nothing except water and fruit outside of that time. Google intermittent fasting to see the health benefits and see results fast eso for food addicts like us.

Eat as much as you want but do some exercise or Meditation. I have controlled my belly through cosmic mediation without sacrificing food, you can do too. Anyway nice film, good acting. Wish you all the best.

maybe ask the question, what does my body really like to eat? and how much? listening to body is unfamiliar to vaishnava philosophy, but... its the only way to clear it. and by the way, i love your videos. and music.
You guys are amazingly creative. The funniest part in the film was that even the ringtone was a Laddoo-song. lol. And a very emotional line was: Bhagwan ko Bhog lagaate hain toh iska matlab ye nahi ki cholesterol nahi badhega. so true. Moreover, we must not do anything which can give a chance to anyone to say: Look at these devotees, their God couldn't protect them and they ended up getting the xyz disease. Do Yoga everyday for at least 40 minutes a day. Trust me, it works. Hare Krishna.

The body must be kept fit for any practice; therefore eating is required, and according to our program, we eat only kṛṣṇa-prasāda. If you can comfortably eat ten pounds of food a day, then eat it, but if you try to eat ten pounds out of greed or avarice, you will suffer.
