That is one georgous video. Such a perfect song choice. Royal women never had a break in history but when it comes to motherhood, the expectations were even higher, they carried on their shoulders the continuity of their dynasty and every bad move would have meant peril for their family and their line, they had to fight like lionesses to protect it, sometimes having to make the impossible choice of choosing the safety of the realm above their own children (Kösem and Ibrahim). I'll never forget Kösem's screams for Mehmet nor Mahidevran's for Mustafa knowing it happened in real life, motherhood truly came as a blessing and a curse to those women. Amazing work.
