I pick up the compact .25 caliber. By far the best build gun i own and one of the most accurate. Without a doubt in my top 5 in accuracy gun. I dealt with Brian at Edgun West and he was 100% correct on how good these guns are. Save your money and buy one and you too could have the epic experience. Great video Rick as always. Special thank you to Brian for the proper guidance.
Rick, you are awesome at explaining what really goes into tuning an air rifle. One slug/pellet, with an out of the box tune, does not necessarily establish "accuracy", or the lack of. You nail it with "testing the full spectrum" to establish what all of the particular gun and ammo have to offer symbiotically. Full potential takes time, and you my friend, are one of the benchmarks we look forward to. Carry on...
Good to see Rick over there in young country getting his hands on a Two, and i knew he would like it. I like mine too, well its annoying it is the pea caliber ( 4.5 mm ) but for what it is, well it dont get much better.
Not to stick up for the fill probe, but it does make tethering really easy. I kind of like it. I couldn't be happier with this gun. Easily the best slug gun I've had. I'm shooting The Griffing 31.8 grain XR match at 910, and Griffin 26 grain at 985 for 58 fpe, reg at 140 bar. It's ridiculously accurate, for pellets I get much better results with the JSB grands, 28.5 grain, they can handle this tune better than the 25.39s. Great gun and I think my search for a slug gun is over. The redesigns will shoot fine if it's calm, but the heavier Grand version hold tight groups even in wind, so I just stick with them they are exiting at 975. it's a twist rate thing in my opinion more than a velocity thing. Thankful for JSB making These heavier redesign versions, they are Awesome for these higher power guns with the 17:7 Twist. It's nice to have one tune and a good slug / pellet option for it. Like you I get an extreme spread of 6 and deviation of practically nothing. Can't complain about that. First shot is on point, no BS there either. 700mm CZ and not lookin back.
I have the 700 Cz barrel and it’s crazy accurate, totally agreed about the cons of these rifle/fill probes but it’s so small.you can still consider rifle near perfect
@@midwesttacticalair7742 The rifle, sure, but i ordered mine with the LW barrel, and it was anything but un choked, it had a massive choke in about the middle 400 mm of the 700 mm barrel. Now have the CZ barrel, and its slick as snot on a door knob.
Great video, Rick. Very Impressive shooting and an impressive rifle. Could you tell us which barrel you had, the CZ or the LW polygonal? Thank you and keep 'em coming.
@@kellypace1534 I believe the 700 mm is the best choice for long range. I’m not saying the 550 can’t do it I just think that the 700 is the best choice.
The CZ barrel will shoot pellets just fine, i have just started to play with those in my 700 mm .177 rifle Okay i have not 100 % found the sweet spots, also i am a bit limited, i am all the way to the bottom of the Huma regulator in mine ( 52 bar ) and i still get +900 FPS on 10.X grain pellets. So to shoot slower i will have to load heavier pellets, the 13.43 grain monster redesigns shoot 815 fps at this minimum regulator setting. Even if a am a slug whore, i am bringing pellets to the range next outing too The rear rest i think is a saber tactical.
@@omarabdelrahman3739 Tn that is a pretty normal twist rate, as i recall some larger caliber can go as slow as 1: 40" For "my" .177 - 4.5 mm caliber i can find faster twists like 1: 12 but thats solely pellet barrels for slugs 1:16 seem to be some of the fastest twist rate. Here i am talking imperial, so the pellet is rotated in the rifling 1 full rotation in 17.7 inches. Epic airhuns also list this in their home page on the rifles.

It looks like they are trying to copy the Fx it looks like the grs rear stock on the king but it looks like they did there homework
They have introduced this rifle 2 years ago, so who is the copy then? :-D
