今回は1枚のラグが完成するまでの工程をASMRにしてみました！

We are RUGMATAG, a tufting specialty shop located in Morinomiya, Osaka. 🔫
This time, we have created an ASMR video showcasing the entire process of making a rug from start to finish!

【Tufting studio&shop RUGMATAG PROFILE】
2021年11月に西日本初のタフティングスタジオとして誕生。
2022年3月より大阪森ノ宮に日本初（世界的にも珍しい）のタフティングショップとスタジオを併設するタフティング専門店をオープン。
国内の老舗敷物会社の協力により本格的なラグ（敷物）をつくるタフティングからアートとしてのタフティングまで幅広く提案しています。
大手百貨店の装飾品の制作や、アーティストやブランドとのコラボに留まらず、2023年11月には韓国最大規模のタフティングアート展示会［𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚］にラグマタグとして作品を出展。
またタフティングアーティストのサポートや、タフティングコンテストの開催などタフティングを広める活動にも注力しています。
Founded in November 2021 as the first tufting studio in Western Japan, RUGMATAG is located in Morinomiya, Osaka. In March 2022, we opened Japan's first and one of the world's rare tufting specialty shops and studios combined.
With the cooperation of a long-established local carpet company, we offer a wide range of tufting services, from creating professional rugs to tufting as an art form. Our work includes creating decorations for major department stores and collaborations with artists and brands. In November 2023, we exhibited our work at [PARANG], the largest tufting art exhibition in Korea.
We are also dedicated to promoting tufting by supporting tufting artists and organizing tufting contests.

It is currently only available in Japan.

Thank you for your comment! The mesh used for the lining is the actual mesh used in Japanese rug factories. By using a special adhesive to attach it, the backing can be finished simply by cutting.

@@GildiaShorts The mesh itself does not have a strong anti-slip effect, but the adhesive contains many rubber components, and the combination of the adhesive and the mesh further demonstrates the anti-slip effect.
We carry two types of adhesives, the other is an anti-tick adhesive.

Thank you for your comment!😊 We use Japanese-made rug mesh and latex-based adhesive for the backing. These are high-quality items that are also used in Japanese carpet factories. Which yarn you use for tufting rugs,how much ply yarn is used
This acrylic yarn is made in Japan for rugs, and is 2ply, which is a little thinner than normal, and is of a combined or medium-fine thickness!
What material did you use after applying the glue? I mean that linen cloth you put on top of the glue.. what is it called?
We call it mesh for lining. It is made in Japan and used in rug factories. We have not yet sold it overseas, but are currently preparing to do so. Please check our online store!
