I drove down to the Kentucky Flea Market to do a little vintage toy hunting. Not only did I find some great vintage toys and pop culture collectibles…I also walked away with a couple awesome graded, vintage baseball cards. Totally not like me but a sweet addition to the collection! Flea market ride along!

Hey Anthony, thanks for the stroll down memory lane on the cards! I had the Mickey cards and the Batman set but over time I lost! Some my mother gave to my cousin cause I’d left them at her apartment when I’d moved out! The Robin I definitely remember having copies cause it used to be five cents for a pack with gum back in the 1960’s lol. Thanks again for the stroll!

I never been to a flea makett i always wanted to go to find disney stuff. Its soo cool tho. Everyones selling cool vintage stuff. So awesome.
looking at both robin cards at the same time reveals interesting things . I am sure both are real and both are first runs but I am betting different presses? There are dozens of just slightly different things between the cards in both his body and face as well as the background buildings, where his left elbow is against the bridge trusses is slightly different etc. Fun things friend. Skin tone color on the right card is much more saturated as well. great find!

As a comic collector, the Batman cards are incredible. Those golden age books in the case with the mantle cards were cool too.
Oh man those ninja force Gi joes bring back a lot of memories wow. Love your videos. Super interesting. Flea markets rule. Especially if they have comics. Those are my main joy 🙃

I have lots of 50s and 60s Topps cards that are in good to poor condition that my brother ridiculed me for 40 years ago and now they are going up up in price. Recently found a 63 topps rookie that I bought for a buck is now worth more LOTS more.

If you delve into cards some more, condition in cards is 10 times more important than in toys. The other two cards he had with creases, are worthless almost.

I have almost all of those batman cards from my dads collection, they are not in the best condition though.
Froggy, I love it when you're in front of a big pile of toys, you keep the camera on them for a bit. I generally pause the video to see if there any old treasures in there from my past. You make it easy to spot them, so thanks!

I will say Froggy, $350 for the pair is an astounding deal. The thing about Mantles is that they're just going to *keep going up* because of course there isn't anymore being made. For someone that doesn't collect cards, you did a heck of a good job snagging those.

@@FroggyFlips There aren't any sold comps from PSA, but a SGC 9.5 sold for $12.5 million. I'd say that a PSA 10 (there are 3 of them) would sell for maybe 3x-4x that price easily. So probably $40-50 million, IMO

Used to collect these Batman cards when in public school. Eventually got the set, pictures, bring back memories. I just wish I hung onto my cards. I remember some kids would fan out the cards and look what the others were trading and hearing Got it..Got it..got it ….

I reside in Louisville KY and hit that flea market regularly. That guy you got the Batman cards from is something else. He has some good stuff sometimes but his prices and opinions are through the roof. Everyone always laughs at his prices after inquiring.
