Well, let's see: my car just went back into the shop for the second time this month; it just took me 6 days to move from my old apartment to a larger apartment (had to hire the moving company twice); my job imploded so I'm retiring in two weeks; and the rental car I was assigned is so new it doesn't even have plates on it yet! You read my aqua moon to the T! I recently received a new job offer that provided more money, a somewhat better title, but I would go from working remotely to working in-person 3x a week with a long commute! Ultimately, I decided to decline the offer and stay in my current role. It was a tough decision to turn down, but it's reassuring to hear that I took the time to really read the contract, recognize what I value most (my time) and know that there are other doors to open out there!
