I don't know how many people are going to use this review as a guide to wether or not they should buy this figure, but i just wanted to say a couple of things to those who are: 1. The claw not opening enough and the peg for the swivel on the power arm breaking are the most common issues people have with this figure from what i can see, and 2. The claw can't open fully because one of the hinges won't move the same way as the one on the other side (not sure why); and the upper arm swivel on the power arm hardly moved at all. My arm also broke and i had to glue it, but you won't be missing much.
I still have the 3 terminators and the 1 t-1000. The cyborg arm used to be the rocket launcher arm. The claw arm was a complete arm. And the human arm had one single spike with a gimick similar to Toy Biz Wolverine.
it's so awesome that NECA is releasing updated versions of the old T2 figures. I actually still have the original of this one though a bit disappointed that the human arm doesn't have battle damage and the retractable spike like the original.
The "spike" is meant to be the tip of a missile. The original kenner figure came with three arms. The claw arm, the rocket launcher, and his regular arm that had a nubby retractable spike feature.
The old Kenner version was possibly my favourite toy as a kid. I used to draw blood all over the damaged skin sections, lol. There was another one too where the whole front section of his upper body popped off to reveal an endoskeleton underneath. What was Spot's fave childhood toy??
Just ordered this figure from Amazon yesterday, hopefully it wil be as good as they come and will arrive in perfect condition. So excited to add him to my collection alongside my Covenant Xenomorph because the Power Arm Terminator is not something "the perfect organism" will be messing with. And yes, I also will have to be careful with the Power Arm as it could be prone to breaking if not handled carefully. Great review!
This is an awesome Terminator figure. However, it's a shame that the spear and claw fit so loose, which results in them falling out way too easily. They should've been given a slightly tighter fit instead. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for the great video. I really appreciate it!
Great QC by NECA, the power arm breaks & the attachments fall off but what else could NECA have done, huh (sigh)? How bout mfg. an arm that does not break & allowing the power arm attachment pieces to pop on/off like most other attachment pieces do on 1:12 scale figs. so they securely stay in place. Easy pass IMO...
Safe to say this figure pays homage to a nostalgic toy us boys all grew up with.
6:16 I feel like the last thing a T-800 would need is a watch on it's wrist lol. You'd think the time would already be programmed into it's system.

I love your videos
The original version of this was my first Terminator figure, when I was a kid.

Damn, I remember getting the original figure for Christmas. It was my favourite.
Shame it doesn't come with a retractable spike for the flesh arm. So much awesome nostalgia, though. I really want to pick this up at some point.
Lmao NECA did the look before Thor L&T
I don't know the reference, haven't seen the movie yet
@@TheReviewSpot neither have I but they gave Thor the sleeveless jacket look for the action fig
That shirt really makes this figure pop! I found the T-1000 & Endoskeleton at my Local Target but they didn't have The T-800 :(
Different arms for the missile and claw parts would’ve been nice...
They would have better matched the original toy as well

Ordered this awesome figure. Can’t wait!
Just picked this up at Target.
what do you think of it?

I dont know if it really scratches the nostalgia itch. I wouldve dropped the Ultimate price for accurate limbs.
An incredible review and definitely an incredible action figure.

Yeah mine broke in 2 seconds I collect neca so I'm more then careful that was a bit ridiculous
Omg that’s a nice figure
Ive been looking everywhere for this figure
The normal arm is a neca Dutch arm
Normal arms
Very cool!
I had to use a flathead to get the rest out
The scuffs kind of blend with the battle damage lol good review Spot
Oh neca why do you use cheap plastic oh why. They make cool stuff just a shame that the plastic quality is very cheap. Anyway good review spot.
Why purple?
Its just the way Kenner originally had their figure
Yeah, but... will the other boys call me a gay?
You're one of my favorite youtubers I've been watching your reviews for 7 years and i think you deserve more subs views and likes! 👍
Hey spot are you going to review john Connor
when he comes out yes
yeah but when did he look like this in the movie? will be a no buy from me Cotton.
He never did, the figure is based off the old Kenner figure that looked like this, not supposed to look like he did in the movie
MYLES BENNETT DYSON
Hell no I’m out
