Big Time Rush Is Big Time EXCITED About Forever Tour, New Music!

This summer just got HOTTER! Earlier this week, Big Time Rush announced their Forever Tour with Dixie D’Amelio that’s taking off this summer and lands at FirstBank Amphitheater on July 14.
BTR tells Eryn how they’ve evolved their music to grow with fans while still keeping their iconic BTR sound we know and love. They also talk about how they decided to reunite for tour and what legendary artist they’d love to bring up on stage to sing with them.

I want to know how they are able to use the name Big Time Rush. I always thought NICK owned the name and the rights to the name. So I wonder if there was conversation or if they were just able to use the name

I think that's the reason they waited 8 years to come back. So they can use the name on their own and not Nickelodeon. Their contract probably is not available anymore. And they wanted to be known for their music, not only because of the TV show.
