yo noc, ur honestly insane. i have a question, who do you think i should main between those legends because i find them all fitting for me but i want a pro's opinion : 1-pathfinder 3-wraith 2-rev 4-bang
Thank you ! I knew I wasn’t going crazy. I’ve been trying to figure out what was wrong , from trying 3 different controllers to settings on steam and apex and all sorts of softwares. I been at this since the update 😂 I thought my pc was dying. Also swapped out cables 😂 thanks again
thank god yall fixed it after 2 days i been dealing with it for a year with xbox controller. bought a new series x nothing, switched to a 2.3k pc just bc of it and nothing changed monitors ethernet cables u name it i tried its crazy
Yeah I’ve noticed this doesn’t 100% fix it but i haven’t found out another way to get rid of the deadzone completely i just turn my deadzone down on Apex, been messing with my settings since this update dropped almost got them back to where i like them again just keep tweaking them!
@@NocturnOwl I realized that you can turn off steam controller support for the game altogether, that way the game uses only settings from apex i believe. that seems to be working for me
This didn't fix it for me either, I did this, then went into Library -> Home ->Apex ->then opened view controller settings -> edit layout -> go to joysticks -> opened the settings for each joystick behavior -> down at Dead Zones I changed it to custom and didnt make any changes. Did this for both sticks and that worked for me. Think if you change them to "Controller Preference" as well, this should fix it, but for some reason it still felt a bit off.
Yeah it doesnt reset deadzone back to 0 theres still 2000 bleed thru it just makes it feel better if you want to stay on Steam, if you want no Steam bleed thru i would switch to EA App i did and i got my settings back (:
it still says 2k though, is that the same as 0 in R5 reloaded? I tried out 2k and 18k (lowest and maximum steam input deadzone) and in r5r they felt the same
No that has nothing to do with your steam settings thats a controller problem might be your analog stick that has a weird stick drift or could be the cable thats messed up aswell!

the deadzone is still outrageous in apex wth, i have small deadzone, and in alc settings its set to 0% and still feels like its at 50 all the time
Mine feels the same. I use no deadzone but it feels like it's on small. I did what he said to do and it still feels off for me
I thought it was my controller! Went and bought a new controller cuz I was raging, glad this video came out and I don’t feel crazy
I got you!
Thank you owl. You saved my confidence…lol. I thought I was down bad all of a sudden. You come n clutch as always. You’re the best owl!

@@NocturnOwl ok thanks man
i thought i was tripping playing yeaterday
SAME BRO i knew something was off
Just hopped back on cod and thought I was going nuts. Damn steam always screwing up settings when it updates
I changed all my sens and it still didn't feel right. Thanks for this

Sams issue here man. I've tried playing with disabled steam input and my aim was all over the place kinda annoying
I used to be able to set that to 0 on my main account
But when i try to do it on my second account i can only set it to 2000
Same my dead zone is at 0% but it feels like 20%. I was hoping this would fix it but it didn’t
If this doesn’t fix it completely the next best thing would be to turn off Steam input to have 0 of the Steam setting leak over to Apex Legends (:
feels like this even on the ea app, is there any solution for that?
Honestly idk about ea app sorry 😅
thank god yall fixed it after 2 days i been dealing with it for a year with xbox controller. bought a new series x nothing, switched to a 2.3k pc just bc of it and nothing changed monitors ethernet cables u name it i tried its crazy
I hope steam doesnt update our controller settings again without telling us 😂
I hate what they did. It still doesn't feel quite right after the fix cause I use weird ALC settings.

I have the same problem and it doesn't fix it, please help
Did you try what i did on the video? If that didn’t work try turning off steam input

Hey I found something where you can make the deadzone really to 0 can i write you somewhere ?
Steam fixed it 👀
do u know damonbieber on Apex ?
Nope
this honestly didnt work for me.

@@NocturnOwl just change right stick on steam deadzone make it custom. its perfect I like it even more then before
@@kpaxgaming there you go glad you found a setting you like! I had to switch to EA App hated the deadzones they added on Steam
Yuhh

Yes at 2k it felt like back to normal for me & if that doesn’t work the EA app has no deadzone just the in game settings if you want to try that out!
Thank you!!!! I was getting ready to buy a new controller.
No problem 👍
I’m having a problem where I randomly do a 180 for no reason could this be why?

The Steam input still bleeds thru so i just switched to EA App and im back on my normal settings since Steam is bugged still
@@NocturnOwl Thanks! I'll do that too, it's close with what I did, but still feels off. Don't know why Steam did this. Hope they revert it.
