Whenever Max Michel talks shooting, I'll listen. Great champion and a nice guy too.
I'm glad he said more than once that his goal, in the context of self-defense, is a softball-size group. USPSA's A-zone is only relevant in that sport. If you overlay it on a human torso, you'll see there's quite a bit of stuff in that area that won't provide a quick incapacitation. Knowledge of human anatomy is crucial when it comes to fighting with a handgun.
