@@shawnhampton8503 Have a few Falk pans that have seen heavy daily use in a professional kitchen for the last 25 years. A few dings on a couple lids but the pans themselves are still in perfect condition. Hands down the best pans I've ever used, period, full stop.
Established in 1958 by Pieter Paul Van Achter, Falk Culinair is now a third-generation family operated company located in Wespelaar Belgium. In 1985 Pieter’s son, Paul Van Achter, brought his expertise in industrial engineering to bear on the manufacturing. He developed and patented the technology that permanently bonds a 0.2 mm layer of austenitic stainless steel to a 2.3 mm layer of solid red copper. This bimetal process is technically known as “intercrystallisation” and was a major milestone in copper cookware development. The Falk bimetal innovation combines the thermal conductivity of copper with the durable, functional qualities of austenitic stainless steel making it the perfect material for kitchen cookware.
While the products are great, calling them ' handmade' because humans are passing the metal sheets from one machine to the next is outright deception. Even cigarette lighters are made by hand in that case! These are completely machine made, just not a fully automated production.
Yes, and they even used machines to mine the copper ore! How deceitful! They had lights in their factory! Why didn't they hand hammer the pans by candle light! The horror, oh, the horror!
Beautiful!!! Can not wait to get my order!
Excellent cookware. I have a couple pans and I am ready to place my order for another.
Nice job 👍
A short video showing how Falk Copper Cookware is made at the factory in Belgium.
I was wondering how the Falk copper cookware was made!
Great video! Do you feel that stainless steel lined is better for cooking with versus hot tinned copper?
It is certainly easier to maintain, I own a few pieces of Falk and I use them more often than the tin lined cooper cookware.
Tin lined pans have to be re tinned and the tin can melt if the temps get too high. The stainless lined are vastly superior, in my experience.
