@@all_rc One new challenge ? On my plane I use 3S and 4S lipos.... so basically the calibration of the AIM2 (Lowest/Highest values) can be only be done for 1 type of lipo to get an accurate pourcentage. Do you this it is possible to 'duplicate' that, to obtain 2 calculated % sensor ? Thx master :)
Hmm... tough one. Since the range is defined by the ain2 sensor, you can't build another calculated sensor with a different range. My only thought is to clone the model. Call one 2s and the other 3s and have different ranges for each. Give that a shot and let me know!
@@all_rc ok thx. Painful to manage 2 models, in case of trim changes etc, but I understand the technical blocker. Gonna set it up for my 5lipos 4S, and thats it for my 2 lipos 2S. Thx for your explanation.
in opentx you can run a lua script via a special function..i have a lua script which automatically calculates the lipo percentage voltage for 2 to 6s batteries..ie the script automatically gets the number of cells in the attached lipo battery and sets the appropriate range accordingly...it seems that ethos cannot run lua scripts via a special function (which is then activiated via a switch eg the SB one)...Am I correct about this?
Great videos and done in a logical order. I have one question which I seem to be missing you have a TD r 10 receiver with a voltage rating of 3.5v -10v but you’re using a 4s battery with put out 16 v how is this not destroying the receiver? May seem like a dumb question but I am fairly new to all this.
The battery is connected to the ESC which powers the motor. The ESC has a connection to the receiver. That connection supplies power to the receiver which is regulated to 6 volts or so (depending on esc settings). So you get full power to the motor while the receiver and servos have regulated voltage to what they need.
@@all_rc makes sense I initially thought you plugging the 4s directly into the reciever and thought I was missing something. Please keep your videos coming they are excellent and well described I’m surprised you don’t have more likes.
I have not used an SR8 Pro but a quick glance at the manual seems to show that it should work the same. Confirm that you are on the correct wire (second wire after negative). That wire should hook up to the positive lead of your esc. When you look at the ADC2 telemetry screen you see 0 volts? It should work.
Great video! Thank you very much! I just set up mine this way for my receiver pack, and it works great. Quick question, do you have a video also showing how to set an alarm once it reaches a certain voltage versus having to look down at the screen all the time?
ruclips.net/video/xvIe9PRj12g/видео.html this video shows how to set up the built in voltage sensor on some frsky receivers. At 6:25 and i set up a voltage callout when i press a button. At about 8:05 i set up an alarm.
Set up a logical switch to throw when voltage reaches a certain value then create a special function which plays either value or a warning when the logical switch throws
Hi, good day and thanks for your videos. I wanted to ask you how to do with my T20S radio that when the throttle lever is halfway it alerts me when I'm flying and I can't look at the controls. Thank you so much!!!!
You'll need to set up a logical switch and a special function. It doesn't come pre set up, unfortunately. Go to LOGIC SWITCHES and add with the plus symbol. Name it. Then under FUNCTION, choose A~X. This means A is approximately a value. For SOURCE (A) choose Throttle. For VALUE (X) keep it at 0 (0 is mid throttle). You might wanna add a DELAY BEFORE INACTIVE if it is too sensitive. Now go back in the menu and go to SPECIAL FUNCTIONS. Add one with the plus symbol. For ACTION, choose HAPTIC. For STATE choose enable. THat should be it.
GREAT INFO!! Thnaks!!
Great ! Question send this week-end, you published an accurate tuto this monday !
Lol! Caught me at the right time with an interesting use case that I wanted to try.

Hi thanks for the video . I.m having trouble getting the ADC2 to display a voltage. Is this due to my receiver being an SR8 pro? Thanks again

What FrSky controller is that? I have the Tandem 20s so these videos help out a lot.
Tandem XE. Same OS so everything I do works just fine on an X20s

@@all_rc Thank you very much, I'll try it and I'll tell you!!!!
I forgot one step. Under SPECIAL FUNCTIONS, on ACTIVE CONDITION choose LOGICAL SWITCH 1 (It's the one you created and labeled whatever you named it).
@@all_rc Gracias!!!!!
@@all_rc FUNCIONO!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can I do that with OpenTX too?
Should be able to. I haven't run opentx in a while but the processes are pretty similar
Nice..
