"But I'm a Cheerleader" is one of the best sapphic romance stories I've seen and criminally underrated. Glad it's finally starting to gain some traction.
Forget Paris and It Could Happen To You are so underrated. I remember how much I liked those movies when I first saw them
"Only You" has been one of my absolute favorite films since I saw it in theaters in 1994. I fell in love with Robert Downey Jr. from this film which still sparkles almost 30 years later
Guys, I agree with "The Truth About Cats and Dogs" and I can even get on board with "Forget Paris" and "It Could Happen to You" and even though you had "Only You" on your list (it should have been higher up but whatever) how can you not have "French Kiss" with Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline on here. It is such an underrated rom-com gem that even my very masculine and war loving, action hero brother loves that he kept borrowing my DVD copy that I had to buy him his own! You need to add it in, make it a Top 11.

I love The Truth About Cats and Dogs. It's funny, charming and does not treat it's audience as idiots.
I saw that movie with my middle Sister & Mom. Sis & I were sitting on either side of our Mom.
When the part where Garafalo & Chaplin were in bed, my Sister & I looked at each other in horror; we were both thinking, 'Oh crap'. All of a sudden our Mom, very nonchalantly said, "Are they having phone sex?" My Sister & I had no idea that our Mom even knew what that was let alone would be able to recognize it when it happened. My Sister, very quietly said, "Yes, Mom." Mom responded, "I thought so." And the three of us continued watching the movie, in silence.
While You Were Sleeping is my favorite! Starring Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman

"Love Jones" and "The Best Man" are definitely not underappreciated in the black community. We love those movies.

Untamed Heart from 1993 & Reality Bites from 1994 were underrated, IMO!
Untamed Heart isn't a romantic comedy.

Love this! It Could Happen To You.. I loved that movie so much. It was also one of my favorite soundtracks when it came out. Walk in the Clouds definitely deserved a mention. Keanu 😍
Love Potion no. 9 is better than most of these. It deserved a spot on the list.

Can’t Hardly Wait and Only You are great movies! I love Only You as an early movie for RDJ and just in case it doesn’t make the list for another great young RDJ movie I loved Heart and Souls!
Only You also starred my other faves BILLY ZANE⭐️ and BONNIE HUNT as well as JOAQUIM DE ALMEIDA.
Only You is my favourite followed closely by The Truth about cats and dogs. Love Janeane Garofalo, The Matchmaker should have been on this list too!!

“Only you” was my favorite childhood comedy.
But I'm A Cheerleader is one of my favorite movies. Natasha Lyonne, Clea Duvall, Melonie Linsky, RuPaul, Mink Stole... fantastic cast!

I loved Only You when I first watched it. It's definitely charming. But it has not aged well. The male protagonist is very toxic.

The Best man and Love Jones were never under appreciated and beloved in the black community. They are classics. Don’t put them in the same category of these mediocre white films. To avoid being completely tone deaf make a list of top black films and shows that are classics. And really do your research.
