The reason there's invisible blocks beneath the end spawn is because their computer is struggling to run the game so the end stone is invisible. My old laptop and my old pc did the same thing. Its especially difficult for their computer to run the game since their using Lunar client and probably have mods installed that are slowing the game down.
Same reason for the logs not breaking. Lag is a bitch. Ironically, if they DIDN'T try to play Minecraft with the mods they obviously have installed slowing their game down, they could've finished with faster times.
