The original trilogy was released some years ago, and we got the Great Attorney Chronicles too
Super Bomberman R actually got a lot more love after the 60fps patch, doubling the frame rate that the game launched at, and I guess Super Bomberman R Online did well for them to make that sequel
i'm glad to see that Bomberman is recovering from his Xbox 360 abomination, i thought that franchise was DoA, now i can see that there is hope for the franchise yet.

How TF are there two halloween-inspired creepy-cute action roguelites, featuring floors and elevators as a mode of transport between them, a very strong use of color-schemes, full of terrible and delightful puns, featuring quirky characters with optional dialogue while in town, in development at the same time?!
It was the only otome game on the list and he just skipped it. I understand he isn't part of the core demographic for that game, and most of his viewers probably aren't either, but I don't see the point of mentioning it if he was just to skip over it like that. It kind of irritated me a little bit, to be honest. 😅

It's one of those games that I feel really demonstrates the no Region locking being a huge asset for the Switch and is a must buy for the system. I really hope that Metal Gear gets a retail physical release that doesn't involve Limited Run Games.
Wow, I didn't realise so many games were still to be released this year, I'm definitely adding some of these to my wishlist. My favourite thing about the switch, besides its portability, is that they are so many different genres of games available. Whatever your age is, your gender is, your mood of the day is, you can always find something to play :)
21:41 The Apollo Trilogy more or less seals the Ace Attorney bag for Switch actually. Since the Phoenix Trilogy and the two Great Ace Attorney are on Switch, even physical in Japan/Asia. The only games about to be missing will be the Miles Edgeworth Investigations spin-offs. They will hopefully arrive one day too 😊
I got the phoenix trilogy and I've been loving it. It's something I've always seen and thought about and I'm glad I picked it up and I'm slowly working my way through the cases enjoying the light-hearted and funny dialogue.
I don't think the Dual Destiny is on the Switch? Isn't that one still a 3DS exclusive? (The one where Athena seems to get a big star part and with the singing pirates?) Or has that made it to Switch too and I've managed to miss it? or USA only? While not the best of the PW series (I stand by the original PW for that admittedly), they still had some charm I felt and let you see a little more into what happened after Apollo. Also some nice little throw back references to the original games. I would like to see all of them eventually make their way to the Switch ngl.
@@rebeccabriggs9452 The first Apollo game released on the DS, and Dual Destinies is the second game in the Apollo trilogy, released first on the 3DS. Dual as in Apollo and Phoenix I suppose 😄

I wish you didn't skip past Radiant Tale so quickly without even mentioning what the game is . Totally understand if visual novels aren't your thing, but if your goal is to highlight all upcoming Switch games, then even if it might not appeal to you, it very well might for someone else. It would really be of help to such a niche genre if these games didn't go unmentioned or swept under the rug in the future. Love your videos, Wood!

The only games i plan on picking up day 1 are Sonic Superstars and Super Mario Wonder. Have a lot of games in the backlog to get through first. Will pick up Detective Pikachu, Super Mario RPG and Wrestlequest next year i imagine once i've cleared that backlog. Want to get Red Dead as well but i'm not paying full price.

I've played the Steam Demo of Little Kitty Big City, and its... so very cute. It has a bit of Untitled Goose game as in you just wander around the city (Trying to get home) and just complete random side quest (harassing people long the way) while trying to complete what you need to do to get home. It's not ground breaking, but what was in the demo was cute and you get to just break every potted plant you come across.... No i didn't do this, what are you talking about...

Man, Carlo Pedersoli and Mario Girotti - known as Bud Spencer and Terence Hill - are legends, many people in Europe grown up watching their films in the 80s. They had their own style western films, but also they did films in Miami in the 70s, 80s, so the Slaps and beans is not just about western.
When I heard that the Batman Arkham Trilogy is coming to the Nintendo Switch I immediately wanted to cry because I always wanted that game to come to the Switch I am so happy this happening I am scared it will be bad port hopefully this is a great game that comes to the Switch other than that I am super excited for this trilogy to come to the Switch!
I'm so excited for Little Kitty Big Kitty! I'm also looking forward to Toxic Crusaders. I love Troma stuff, and if that wasn't enough, the soundtrack by Psychostick was enough to seal the deal!
You suck at parking is amazing. I learned about it from some random French streamer, and its soooo fun. Just learning the optimal strategies is great, the art style is also very visually comforting
I have high hopes for Hogwarts legacy on the switch. The Witcher 3 shouldn't have been made for the switch but it did and it plays very very well. How the heck they are getting Batman Arkham Knight for the switch is insane also. That game is massive. I really think Hogwarts is going to be fun
I hope we get see SquareEnix release a physical port of the Kingdom Hearts games with the release of Switch 2 when it comes out, that or SEGA remastering the Puyo Puyo games in a collection (Fever 1&2, the 15th&20th Anniversary, Puyo Puyo 7 and Chronicles that came out on the ds). Those are the games that I would love to get to play on the go.

Played up to Arkham Knight midway and just gave up on it because life happened. Look forward to revisiting it. Addicting gameplay at its finest
GRIMOIRE GROVES just to put it on your radar, it started as a kickstarter campaign that went super saiyan successful that started just for steam but is now also going to have a switch release. the demo is on steam and while the colors are a bit....acid trippy, the game itself is super fun and definitely worth your time. scheduled release is near end 2024.

I will be shocked if persona 3 reload doesn’t come to switch. Atlus leaked a switch release (not confirmed for certain), and even if it doesn’t come out at the same time I’m confident that it will release there eventually.
@@cleverman383 Portable is, but Altus is working on a remake. Reload is coming to all of the other platforms P3P was released on so I don’t see why switch would be different.
@@cleverman383 yeah definitely. If you have a pc or another platform it’s coming to you should be fine. I’m fairly confident that it will come to switch, but if it doesn’t and you don’t have any other platforms you should play portable. Persona 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, up there with botw and totk.

Batman Arkham is really exciting. Played up to Arkham Knight midway and just gave up on it because life happened. Look forward to revisiting it. Addicting gameplay at its finest

just to put it on your radar, it started as a kickstarter campaign that went super saiyan successful that started just for steam but is now also going to have a switch release. the demo is on steam and while the colors are a bit....acid trippy, the game itself is super fun and definitely worth your time. scheduled release is near end 2024.

Red dead redemption was announced the day after this was released. And people were angry for the $50 port.
I will be shocked if persona 3 reload doesn’t come to switch. Atlus leaked a switch release (not confirmed for certain), and even if it doesn’t come out at the same time I’m confident that it will release there eventually.
Persona 3 is already on Switch
@@cleverman383 Portable is, but Altus is working on a remake. Reload is coming to all of the other platforms P3P was released on so I don’t see why switch would be different.

@@cleverman383 yeah definitely. If you have a pc or another platform it’s coming to you should be fine. I’m fairly confident that it will come to switch, but if it doesn’t and you don’t have any other platforms you should play portable. Persona 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, up there with botw and totk.
