The large stone looks cast....It's composed of conglomerate material you can see from the exposed side. It's too sharp a cut for natural conglomerate stone.
The discoloration is from part of it being exposed to the elements and the other part buried for thousands of years. It was only completely cleared away just recently. Also, it is still attached to the base stone which it was cut from.
Hey Jordan! There are multiple stories behind the name. One says the monolith is named after a pregnant woman who tricked the people of Baalbek into believing that she knew how to move the giant stone if only they would feed her until she gave birth. Others say the name comes from the legends that pregnant jinn were assigned the task of cutting and moving the stone, while others say that the name reflects the belief that a woman who touches the stone experiences an increase in fertility. Go figure right!
the stone next to it that's buried underground is larger and heavier than the Stone of the Pregnant Woman
What an amazing sight to see! I hope to travel here one day
We are not alone.
Great video. Thankyou
What is under the stone of the pregnant woman and the other two???
Since they are in the quarry-there is much more stone underneath that they do know of, now what is under that -is a mystery for sure.
My intuition tells me that those three stones are covering something up something's under them

The name is just a name when it was cut they didn't call it the pregnant woman lol
it's a huge phallus and if women take one look at it they get pregnant.
