bought the q30 a year ago, Great sound and ANC but a killer flaw is the build quality, the plastic hinge broke with very minimal use and i had to superglue it.. definitely keep that in mind. very fragile headphones
I still have my q30 and they sound amazing same with the q45 which I finally picked up a couple of weeks ago. Don't like the sound I get out of the box with either but with that eq damn they sound amazing. Even compared to my more expensive headphones. Bose and Sony. Wireless headphones are definitely getting better but I can't expect it to compete with my audiophile grade wired headphones from hifi man. But still damn. Great for the convenience and still excellent sound quality
Soundcore are exceptional. The best earbuds I've ever used are earbuds. I got some $30 Soundcore Spirit Sports many years ago and they were better in every way vs Airpods (double battery life, better sound, better waterproofing) and even some $200 Seinheissers I had. Recently I got some more Soundcore Liberty Air 2's and they were $40 and they also beat Airpods in most ways.
Could not agree more, Soundcore is a great company. Last year I finally got sick and tired of big over-the-ear headphones and purchased the Liberty Air 2 Pro's on a Black Friday sale, I really like them, and use them constantly. Even though I have an iPhone, I just didn't want Airpods. Apple makes good devices with their iPhones and iPads, but their accessories are almost always overpriced and overrated.
Bought these primarily for use while snowblowing. My snowblower has a ~15HP engine that is LOUD. I listen to music etc. at lower volumes. The ANC on these reduces noise levels enough that I don't have to turn up the volume on my source at all. Best hundred bucks I could have spent.
I use the soundcore pi 2 ear buds and because I liked them so much I bought the q30 headphones a while back. Never regret going to anker as I serious love their stuff. Been looking at these q45 ones for a while and they look very good! Love the sound quality of my Q30s and Pi 2, and the battery life is just insanely amazing!
Soundcore earbuds and headphones have always impressed me. I have the Liberty 3 Pros which are the best sounding and feeling earbuds I've ever had. Plus I have the Life Q30s which sound great. I'm really intrigued to try out the Space Q45s!
@@otabeksattorov5428 Yes, I got them and they are great!! I use the noise cancelling while on Teams work calls and also the music quality is also great! The multi-point connection also is great. @@amymoore6218 Personally, do you prefer the Liberty 3 Pros (Earbuds) or Space Q45 (Headphone) if you could only choose one? In terms of sound, does it feel like earbuds sound better to you than over-ear Q45s? I personally am waiting for the Liberty 4 Pros but may consider the q45. I've had the Skullcandy Crusher's EVOs for half a month and they have a amazing build quality and all and i guess very well worth the 170 but i just can't afford to stick to something that i'm not 99,99% satisfied about. They sounded too sharp at times, as if it cuts your ear at slighty louder volume. I guess i like warmer sound?
@@VinnyUnion so, I hadn’t really done a side by side comparison but decided to since you asked for my opinion. The Space Q45s sound great but lack a little in separation of sounds. I did find that they sounded better when adaptive noise cancellation was on versus normal or transparency. The Liberty 3 Pros are excellent, especially if you try the Producers EQs. The Liberty 3 Pros have so much more in regards to features and bunches of EQ settings to pick from as well as you could create your own.
@@amymoore6218 Are you more used to earbuds cause your ears do tune themselves to styles believe it or not. I have the pros as well, some quality is comparable and the q45 have a better soundstage for obvious reasons. If you can use LDAC on both you'll notice a bigger difference. Though I use my air 3 pros at work for discreteness. Haha
Great review. Thank you fpr sharing your experience with the Q45. I have the Q30 and love the comfort and sound quality. I used them for yard work. I never realized how loud my battery mower was. The real test was using the Q30 while on my gas riding mower - the noise cancelling was awesome. I have a larger head and the q30 is comfortable. Today, i saw the Q45 on sale on Amazon for $67 during a lightning deal, so i ordered those as well. I've heard that the q30 has a better mic for calls. I personally don't take calls while working on projects around the house.
I am trying one now. Your video is spot on on everything about this headset. Only thing is when I pair this to my PC, the sound quality dropped significantly and I couldnt find anyway to correct it. When it is connected to the phone it sounds perfectly fine due to the adjustable EQ. Initially I am planning to use it heavily on my personal PC for music/movies/gaming, now I have to use it for work only because the ANC is very good.
I totally agree on overall quality of Soundcore. I hope materials' quality has improved. My Life Q30s after just 1,5 years of use are very worn out alhtough they function ok.
I have the Soundcore Q30 as they were highly praised by Oluv (a controversial audiophile RUclipsr) and I can say they are very good, with great sound quality and great battery life, plus decent ANC... Also to be praised is their Customer Support which gave me a new pair free of charge once my first pair broke on the hinges...
It's nice to hear that high quality audio products are getting more attainable now. Speaking of audio... I'm curious about your thoughts on the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Just got them, they are better noise cancellation isolation tech than my previous ones I still have Q30. To be honest, my Q30 have very similar noise cancellation reduction from Bose quiet comfort 15 that I have bought over 10 years ago and Q45 just improved in every way. They are waiting to be used right after my Q30 break.
@@EyeMaMoeRahn they lasted for about 15 months of everyday heavy use and finally one of the ear cups broke. I wasn’t being careful. They could of lasted longer. They are actually pretty good. One feature of the Q45 is missing which Q30 had. Which is when you cup your right ear it goes from ambience to noise cancellation without ever needing to press a button, which is a few seconds faster. It’s minor, but thoughtful. I knew about it from the beginning then forgot to take advantage.
@@junito2899 i just got the q30 and its my first nc headphones, i mostly got for NC, but am bit dissatisfied. Should i get q45? Hows the nc compared to xm4.
@@AltafS never had the Sony ones, only Bose and soundcore.. I think overall, the soundcore are on par with noise cancellation with Bose in my opinion. The 45 is definitely a step up from the 30, the noise cancellation is better, but you can never remove when people are speaking when you are using the headphones just for background noise reduction.
I've had a set of Life Tune XR headphones for about a year and a half now. The sound quality is great, as is the battery life and ANC capabilities. I'm not sure if they used the same algorithm, but since I play guitar I've found I can set it to transparent, listen to music in the headphones, and jam over that on guitar in that mode. It sounds clear, and natural. Only downside for thie particular pair I have, is they're sensitive to physical abuse and I have to be careful when I'm stretching them over my head.
man, I got these on sale for $100 and they have suited me super well! battery life, noise cancellation at work and traveling (airplanes mostly), and a 3.5mm jack included are super nice
I was hoping to upgrade from my life p3 earbuds. So I saw all the reviews praising the Q45. I got the white, which looks great and feels comfortable. BUT the sound quality was worse in comparison to my life p3. I thought it was Eq but I set to same Eq and I noticed much less clarity in the highs, less instrument separation, small soundstage. The bass was the only redeemable factor. It was loud and thumpy but very muddy and lacking precision in comparison to soundcore wireless earbuds. I have a pair of m50x for years and I was hoping to get at least good sound quality but the Q45 were just 'decent' or listenable. If I'm spending decent money on overear headphones, I want my money to be on something that sounds better than earbuds. So I ended up returning getting sennheiser momentum 4s for about 250. I'm writing this review because I feel like soundcore has a lot of marketing for these and I want to help other consumers not fall for the hype. Which I did.
Thank You for a professional review on this headphone , I have ordered them after watching your amazing review , it should deliver any time this week Thank You Again cheers .

I have the Anker Soundcore Q30, they have amazing sound and bass, or if you want to listen to classic music, they also offer a amazing experience, the only thing that I didn’t like, is that the headphone isn’t very durable, but they don’t break fast, I have had them for over a year and more, but the headphones are made out of plastic, so if it falls, or if it gets squished in a backpack every time you store it, it could break some parts, but the sound is amazing🤩
Did you compare them with the new xm5 or sennheiser momemtum 4? What are your thoughts on that? In other words, your videos is awesome, you explain very well, your comparaison is excellent and you give example for us to understand, like with your lawnmower 😂 i do the same thing with my xm4 :)
I love Soundcore I have 3 pairs of Soundcore earbuds. I ordered the Q45 headphones forvan early Christmas present for myself and I cant wait to get them.
@HonkyDigital.I haven't tried using them with a 3.5 mm cable but I would think so. These headphones do a great job at passive noise cancelling. I would.think the same if you use them both ways. I hope this helps.
Hi: I've the soundcore Q70, and I love them. I can pair it with 2 devices and I can conect them with a cable to my ipod classic. They have such a nice sound. I like to listen to instrumental music and I highly recommend them.
I have the previous model and yes they are great but some issues too! some bugs in the equilizer and the cushions last nothing.... I treat them very well and the foam is already flat and with holes! shame for the price after only 1 year of use!
Did not want to pay $400-$600 and your reviews are awesome. Used Amazon for same day delivery and it was only $100 vs full price $150. Totally worth it!
Hey Max. Do the headphones retain the app settings "permanently"? That is, they don't have to be re-applied every time you use the headphones and do they stick when using with another device (like your computer?) without the app?
@@MaxTechOfficial Thank you! Yes, that's how some of my devices work. My Soundcore Liberty Air 2's though do not. They lose EQ settings if I put in the charger or turn them off, so each time I have to pair with my phone, apply my EQ, then unpair, then pair with my other device (like my Apple TV) to get the sound I want.
Hi, do you know if at that price, if there are headphones that have better audio quality? and also which headphones has the best audio quality between the q45 and the q35? (I listen to rap/edm/hip hop/drill). thank you hope to get an answer.
I'm glad they got rid of the touch transparency and the auto pause features the Q-35's had since these by my experience proved faulty and more problematic than useful, often times being turned on by accident. Changes that I don't like with these, however, include the app now restarting your headphones if you switch between LDAC mode and the connecting quality mode, and you can no longer be connected to two devices at once in LDAC mode. Also, these shockingly have significant sound bleed compared to the Q-35's. Additionally, I've not been able to get the play/pause button to work on these while watching Netflix on my smart TV. I haven't tried that yet with other sources. I do love the adaptive and customizable noise cancelling features, and the hearing protection option; those are smart. I'll have to do more testing, but I'm hoping the lesser amount of foam on the headband means less making a giant dent in my hair that can only be removed with lots of water.
About the battery life, I noticed that when I use the custom noise canceling and adjust the intensity of noise reduction, I think it could drain my battery a lot quicker than it does when it is at level one. It even causes the headphones to get drained before 50 hours. Have you experienced anything like this? If so, what should I do to get the 50 hours?
The louder they are/the more noise they cancel out, the more power they will consume, so you'll have shorter battery life. If the battery life is critical for you, lower the volume and reduce the noise cancelation level so it consumes less power
Hi there. Thank you for the review. QUESTIONS: I will only use this with my computer (and not my phone), and I will mostly use it for watching movies. Is the sound good for that? (Like good base etc...) And can I change all the settings on the computer, or do I HAVE to use the phone to access the app functions?
Great review.. have a pair of teugel anc headphones which I got in a dept store in Berlin whilst on holiday several years ago.. been very happy with them, at the time I tested them in store against Sennheiser and Bose options and they came out on top… but over time I found they’re a bit uncomfortable if worn for more than an hour, and noise cancelling isn’t great, although sound quality is pretty good. I recently sold them and been looking for an alternative, As an iPhone/iPad user drawn I’m towards the AirPods Max, but they are so expensive and I’m intrigued to see if a new version of the Max might come out in the next few months, so for me seeing these on sale in the UK for around £85, I think they will be ideal, not too expensive and then depending on what comes out from Apple in the next few months I can either give them on to someone in the family, or maybe even sell them- fingers crossed, but I think they’re going to be a great solution and maybe if I’m really happy with them I won’t even exchange them for a year or two!
Does ANC still work while using AUX instead of Bluetooth? I've seen reviews of the Q30 and Q35 which suggest the ability to use ANC while on AUX was removed by a firmware update. I'm looking for a pair of headphones where noise cancellation will still work whether on AUX or Bluetooth.
I sold my Sony XM3 for the life Q30 simply because it sounded way better and has bigger sound stage compaired to the Sony's. The XM3 was just ahead when it comes to build quality and ANC. But other than that, though, the Q30's nailed a lot more like the batt life and deep, punchy bass. With that said, I wouldn't be surpised if the all-new space Q45 will be on par with the higher-end brands, if not better, considering its price. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and giving a good review.
Same story with me comming from Xm3 but now been using the Q30's for a year. However I dont think the Q45's is worth the upgrade from Q30's unless you can use LDAC for Lossless flac files.

It depends on what kind of sound profile you want, do you like bassy sound profile or more neutral? cus if its more bassy you would prefer Anker cus they are better in this area. But sennheisser they are better in more mid and neutral that preserve more true sound.

Oh yeah! Just tried them out for the first time. They are far better than my Q30s and I love those. These are next, next, next level. The bass test on RUclips was phenomenal.
but i dont think it is great for comfort because the earcups cannot adjust to a certain degrees to fit your ears like Space One due to everyone has different face shape
When plugged in you can use them without them being on. I love my Q45 da Blue ones.
bought the q30 a year ago, Great sound and ANC but a killer flaw is the build quality, the plastic hinge broke with very minimal use and i had to superglue it.. definitely keep that in mind. very fragile headphones
One of the best Budget headphones for me, Loved the crispier sound it does compared to other headphones
May I know what eq setting you used or own configurations? Cheers.
Yes plz, ur eq settings 😊
@@redbishop71the bigger question is why does he need four sets of headphones?
Love the sound quality of my Q30s and Pi 2, and the battery life is just insanely amazing!
i used this for 14 hours in the plane (long flight) and it worked so great blocking the plane noise including the noise of the crying babies
How bout pressure arround your ear??
it's not that super uncomfortable. i just try to remove it from time to time for my ear to breathe. my ears are fine.@@ann__dreel
Late reply, but I personally used them on a 10 hour flight without taking them off and never felt uncomfortable
Congrats on 1 million you deserve it cause of your quality and helpful content!!!🎊🎊🎊
Soundcore earbuds and headphones have always impressed me. I have the Liberty 3 Pros which are the best sounding and feeling earbuds I've ever had. Plus I have the Life Q30s which sound great. I'm really intrigued to try out the Space Q45s!
Did you try it? Can you share with me your thoughts on it?
@@otabeksattorov5428 Yes, I got them and they are great!! I use the noise cancelling while on Teams work calls and also the music quality is also great! The multi-point connection also is great. I’m using a PC for work along with my iPhone. I can hear and participate in my work call and also hear notification sounds from my phone. Well worth the purchase!
Haha
1:47 i noticed that, just got the q45 and it has issues when trying to block high frequency noises.
I got the Q35 and they are amazing for the price point. Now I will need to get these new ones.
Purchased a pair of Q45s during this year’s Prime Day at an absolute steal of $89. Love them so far. Got them in white.
I’m having the same problem, which is the only thing stopping me from immediately indulging in these pair 😭
How was the leakage when you higher the volume?
How did you ask them for a refund considering a broken hinge might be due to customer's fault?
@@rayanghonaim9611 some leakage… people can hear your music if played loud…

It's nice to hear that high quality audio products are getting more attainable now.
Speaking of audio... I'm curious about your thoughts on the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Yes! Headphones have been getting so expensive lately. Those Buds2 Pro also got more pricey. We will be covering those soon!
Bought them, work great, good bass and loud from my LG C1 - can’t beat that price. And the noise blocking is great as well!
No noticable audio delay with your C1? I bought the C2 recently and need a good pair of headphones for TV watching while the family is asleep.
I just got the q30 on sale for like $60. How do you like them? Sounds like you’ve had them for awhile
I'm using Soundcore life Q30 ones since last year .. It's amazing at all .. ❤❤
If you use the LDAC they are on a whole other level
the q30's are the one's to get, their sound signature is much closer to the life p3's with a slight tweak on the EQ's (search Oluv's EQ for the q30)

Thank you for reviewing these fantastic headphones!
Hey Max. Do the headphones retain the app settings "permanently"? That is, they don't have to be re-applied every time you use the headphones and do they stick when using with another device (like your computer?) without the app?
I'll see if I can find out. I love my soundcore boom and for that the changes do stick in the speaker itself which is really nice.

Same here lol
Same😂
I'm glad they got rid of the touch transparency and the auto pause features the Q-35's had since these by my experience proved faulty and more problematic than useful, often times being turned on by accident.
@@Anonymous4045 the thing is that I had them at 60% volume for the whole time and the battery life has never reached 50 hours at all.

Hi there.

QUESTIONS:
I will only use this with my computer (and not my phone), and I will mostly use it for watching movies.
Is the sound good for that? (Like good base etc...)
And can I change all the settings on the computer, or do I HAVE to use the phone to access the app functions?
Is it a good time to buy the Q45(with $115, or are there new models coming out soon? Or should I consider other brands?
Do you think those are good choice if im looking for juicy music quality?
I've a quick question. Is the app available on Android? Like do all the ANC and transparency modes work with a Samsung for example?
I've just copped my Q45 and the soundcore app has an Android version with all features available. No walled garden nonsense.

I recently sold them and been looking for an alternative,
As an iPhone/iPad user drawn I’m towards the AirPods Max, but they are so expensive and I’m intrigued to see if a new version of the Max might come out in the next few months, so for me seeing these on sale in the UK for around £85, I think they will be ideal, not too expensive and then depending on what comes out from Apple in the next few months I can either give them on to someone in the family, or maybe even sell them- fingers crossed, but I think they’re going to be a great solution and maybe if I’m really happy with them I won’t even exchange them for a year or two!
Based on the comments, looks like the Q45's sound better than the Q30's, but the ANC is a little different and the build may fit you differently?
