- Next into The Den is Jacqueline Sava, an entrepreneur who is pitching her line of liquid soaps for fine fabrics. She is seeking 300K for a 25% equity share and needs the cash to build a salesforce that will kick her competitors off the shelves. However, if there's one thing The Dragons are afraid of, it's debt.

shes still in business like 10 years later good for her😊
If she did $400,000 of sales each year, investing in staff and offices WILL NOT affect that revenue, that’ll effect your net profit. So many “business” people don’t understand the difference between revenue, gross and net profit it’s scary.
yep. Seems like a common mistake (if not intentional) business ppl in the den do is measure their company profitability by revenue and not net profit margin. It's baffling and obnoxious.
@@Lightning920705 It's all just for show.. nobody truly wants to invest in Canada companies when you grab a US monster.. The taxes alone cripple small business in socialist economies.. The only way to succeed and have a growing business is to branch out quickly into the US.
@@oneheadlight8000 you dont know sht

😂😂😂😂
do you really think so 😀😀
The United States is known as a poor nation if you get sick and unemployed! It is not like that in the countries that pay a higher tax, which I do with pleasure. I own 2 large houses, one with a view of the sea, so I gladly help others! There is no poverty in Denmark. In the United States, people are suffering! You and others in the USA call yourselves Christians, but do NOTHING to help those who are having a hard time, I hate people like you 😢
Kevin always makes me scream with laughter 😂
He is THE funniest shark by far
I found it peculiar that her asking amount was exactly the same as what her debt amount was! This is what happens when you go on Dragon's while in financial trouble with huge debt, thinking the Dragon's are some kind of bank that provides debt relief!
Arleen once again goes on and on supporting and defending folks. Then finds a way to weasel out.
The dragon and sharks do that a ton of times, where they congratulate the entrepreneur but say the investment is not for them. Have you seen the show?
Yep! Just another example as to why I would rather go bankrupt then have one of these ruthless scumbags as an investor or partner to my business! These are the type of people who wouldn't hesitate for a second to seize the opportunity to take everything you have, and leave you out on the street! They didn't get to where they are by having a conscience, even though, sometimes they pretend to have one!
Arlene: I think you're amazing. You're doing great. You're an inspiration. You're my hero. You're everything that's right with the world. You're gonna make a ton of money. What a great product.
Entrepreneur: So you're gonna invest? 😃
Arlene: Absolutely not.
there's a difference between a great product and a business you want to invest in.. lol
This is what happens with barbara too they always focus on watching the female investors pockets 😂 and getting mad only when SHE doesn’t invest
Still around just bought some off Amazon last week.
These people NEVER think from the investors perspective. All you need to do is imagine what you would think/do if someone approached you with the offer. Seems to bypass majority of these peoples thought process however.
70 hours a day lmao
I presume she misspoke and meant to say 70 hours a week.
@@cblue3 kind of like how she misjudged her level of debt, which was %100 why she failed so miserably in the den!
Why are their bras out like that?
Rational people are obviously aware that a no rinse wash is most certainly not a wash.
For Lord's sake people, get a drop of Dawn and some warm water and spend 2 minutes. Sheesh.
"It's not about the numbers. It's also definitely about the numbers."
Kevin is definitely more ruthless on Dragons Den than he is on Shark Tank. But with both shows he gives the most business, unsympathetic and truthful on the show.
If she can get out of debt, her company's will have a chance to survive.
Maybe downsize and cut back on some overhead fees (eliminate some employees, rent a smaller building size,?)
Pay off the bank a certain amount each year.
The faster she can pay it off, the sooner she can put more money in her pocket.
They have sold a million dollars in products, they can pull themself out of this debt.
It's not over yet and not too late.
She has to re-strategize and find another solution to help her out of her temporary problem.
“70 hours a day” :’)
Beat me to it... a year earlier 😂😂😂
Maybe she has a few employees she is considering...? 🤔
Kevin: which planet are you from?😂
I’ve used this product and it works great.
Have you bought it again?
@@ThePrehistoricWars I haven’t needed it, but I would buy it again.
She's still around.
Is she really?
But is she shaved?
Going strong, it appears
She sunk her own ship when she said "fantastic time to have debt..ha ha ha ha ". Because she clearly demonstrated that she didn't have a realistic grasp on her financial situation! And Kevin spotted that right away! These people seem to have no idea who they are dealing with when they walk on this show!
I always thought that the debt comment was sarcastic.
These episodes make Americans on shark tank seem like geniuses
And everyone thought Canadians were nice but when it comes to business we’re pretty strict
Until you see the first episode ever where the one guy literally wanted to do brain surgery on people lol
Nearly all washing machines have a setting for delicates.
You still can't put bras in the washer. Also, that's irrelevant to the soap, bro. She's not selling a new washer cycle, she's selling the delicate soap.
Arlene thought it could be a successful business but it wasn’t a good investment for her
The music is so obnoxiously loud
Dude this poor lady is going to be spending as much per annum on debt service as she is on staffing.
Fasteners missing Alberta bolt house
I hate how old red head always sticks up for people but then never invests
Arlene is sometimes more cruel than Kevin. Giving the entrepreneurs false hope only to say she’s out.
So wash and not rinse at all. That sounds fishy to me.
“From the rotting flesh - new growth occurs!”
LMAO! Well said, Kevin!
Shower me in debt baby!
Why is the aspect ratio off, it's like it's ripped off content.. is this from 2005? 🤣
This is like 10 years ago
Uh yeah it's over a decade old bud.
The show started in 2006
Kevin is hilarious
No rinse wash? Gross. a lot of the dead skin will just end up back on the item.
Kevin should be a poet
I would give anything to see him reading books to children.
I'm not being funny but I sware the female dragon totally played with them.
She made it seem like she was on their side and saw how the business could work....implying she would at least make an offer.
Only to end like that...did you see the reaction on their faces. And then you see her laughing with the dragon she was "arguing with" a second ago lol
Could be the editing... each segment is a few mn long but they spend much longer in there (sometimes hours even)
@@gsd8754
Yea true...it was just so strange. She was literally arguing with the other dragon about...only to not even make an offer lol
That’s Arleen all talk and no walk. Every episode is the same with her. Spewing all this junk then always finds a reason to weasel out.
because you can disagree with a business without being rude or mocking them. Kevin always bullies the entrepreneur for no reason, Arlene (the female) is classy and tells it how it is without sugarcoating it.
@@NaomiIsSoAwesome98
Yea...that's not how most people would perceive her actions lol
Oh she didn’t lose Arleen because Arleen is all talk and no action
who the fuck is arleen
U just see a walking debt .. big fatt debt
Robert stop talking like that, shes doing well and its good business, you dont know anything. btw, im out.
Arlene always acts so high and mighty but never invests.
sell this shit at aritizia, they’ll sell like hot cakes
$300,000 bank debt is losing your house debt...Foolish.
Rude people who dont introduce the people they are with.
