either one will work
@@embersliving I am thinking regency ci2700 or napoleon s25i. Can you suggest which one will be better ? I know napoleon is not catalytic and regency is hybrid that has both.
I never saw the napoleon in person, but regency looked too small inside to put a lot of woods to burn overnight. Or it doesn’t need to fill it up full?
Can you cook on a fireplace insert?
some but its tough to do
My fireplace has a metal open-faced box in it with a metal angled top to the flue. Can't all that be removed & replaced with an insert? Really like your videos!
if you remove everything you would want to start with a new wood fireplace not an insert at that point
Do you sell efficient wood fireplaces for new construction?
Yes
So we have some inserts in this video that might work ruclips.net/video/Df-sVM-hxrE/видео.html
Wish you guys had a store in the dfw area. The stores lack financing and to some level, service.
bummer
Can these be inserts for a gas fireplace?
no wood only
I'd say that "style" is the Most important feature: #HappyWifeHappyLife
very true
If you get an insert raging hot will it still heat a decent size area without the blower?
yes
Great info. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful
Glad you think so!
Wow ! You just described us . We're 3000ft2 on propane. I'd put a small led tv in that firebox before I'd install an electric unit.
cool
I have a traditional rock fireplace. When I had it built I was able to find a unit that was a wood rack held by 2 inch square tubing. The thermostat was inside the tubing and connected to a covered box with a 100cfm blower. Everything set inside the fireplace except the blower vent which the face cover sat on, so the heat blows directly in the room. It works wonderful and still does. I purchased it in 1998 and installed it myself. The tubing is begining to crack slightly so I have been searching for another unit just like it. I have not been able to find it again. Do you have any resource that could find this type of unit?. It works wonderful!
hmm those are pretty much obsolete
Why don't they have one that doubles as a cook stove?
they are not EPA
Once again Pacific Energy is the very best. Don't understand why more wood stove retailers etc don't include this company in their evaluations of product.
they won't let us
6/1/23. This is so wierd ... I just looked at this comment < 5 minutes ago and found a response to this comment ~ ' because they won't let us' .... and now when I come back here, the comment is gone??? Am I halucinating? I bring this up because I'm looking at a PE but see lots of bad customer support comments..... Thoughts?? Don't see any PE products here....
Thanks.
Minor nit to pick, since it's your profession: "masonary" and "heighth" are not words.
true
I hate to be nitpicky but Websters does in fact recognize Heighth as a Noun and dialectal variant of height. You're correct on Masonary. Js.
@@emberslivingheighth is fine, masonary not so much 😉
@loribernardisunwell9663 Indeed, Webster's will tell you themselves that they record dialects. In that sense, "iffin" is a word. People defer to any source that agrees with them. Say "heighth" all you like. After all, what is diction but the Brownian motion of blathering mouths?
Just purchased the Montpelier II in black. Looking forward to using it. Unfortunately we already need warranty work on it. Some of the screws were broken off at the factory. They're giving us a new front door.
oh bummer
How do you like the stove today
Does it heat your house well and can you tell me how mant sq ft you have
I have a Vermont castings Montpellier.. longest burn you’re going to get on that insert is like 3-4 hours tops... no such thing as an “overnight” burn.. EPA ruined these, I can’t choke the fire down it’s wide open roaring 100% of the time
what kind of wood are you using?
Yes I have the regency catalytic and coals every morning never have to restart new fire all winter, so nice!!
I want the regency CI2700 but I saw a review about, when you open the door the smoke come out and you get the smoke in the room
that can happen on any model, if you dont have a good draft going.
Try and open the door slowly to reduce the smoke coming in your house
Once the fire burns down to coals no smoke comes out, but if your adding wood without it burnt down crack the door open just enough to poke the fire around with the poker then the draft will work better to fully open door
0:04 “Today I am going to be teaching you.” That is an arrogant thing to say to an audience.
6:58 “What I try to educate consumers” this is the type of language to use to bring in customers.
Thanks for the input!
FYI, it's masonry, not masonary.
ok
2:45 It's not heighth
Thanks for watching
Size matters
ha
This must cost a fortune
Not too bad
I’m not sure if you’re aware, but your countertops out back are on fire. I hope I’m not too late!
haha
Heighth is not a word. Height is.
ok
Napolean s20
thats a nice one
Someone told me to look into a fireplace insert. I didn't even know what that was. I don't understand. These look like microwaves. I don't want a microwave in my fireplace.
haha
This guy is selling you ass. Buy yourself a Lopi, fireplace X, Travis industries product and thank me later. Get it installed professionally.
ok
You being in the business should know better. The proper word is MASONRY, .... Not MASONARY.
thanks for the lesson
