The quest with the Excalibur Umbra explained what warframes are. They are super soldiers, humans genetically altered with the infestation. Warframes are not suits or armors, the ones that the player craft are "clones", but the original ones are humans that got transformed. The Tenno control is a mechanism inject in the person, Jade had one, you transferred to her and help her with the birth.
My interpretation of the end message is that hunhow needs a hug. Yes, he’s done bad things, but he’s also been genuinely trying to do good for his people The orokin were using the sentients. They were gonna make the sentients colonize tau so they could take over and ruin it like they ruined the origin system. Hunhow didn’t want his people’s beautiful new home to be corrupted, so he fought for it. The Old War. Hunhow planned to let the Tenno killed him, so they could gather their strength and eventually take over the origin system, and fix what the orokin did. Yes, it was the wrong choice, but from his perspective, he wanted to help. His title of “destroyer of worlds” was given to him by his enemies, and he embraced it. Made it his own. His son wanted to do the same thing, but felt ballas was the only way to do it, and as we know, ballas didn’t have those same noble goals. Erra retaliated, and died. Lotus turned on hunhow, later died, was brought back, and doesn’t know that hunhow tried helping, so she likely still doesn’t like him. Hunhow was the sentient destroyer of worlds, but to the origin system, that’s ALL he is. Seemingly the last, and possibly only people, to treat him, like a person, his only friends, were jade and Sorren His son is dead His daughter hates him The origin system hates him His people have been corrupted and now serve the twisted ideologies of ballas Jade is dead Sorren is gone Hunhow is alone… he’s tired
Just an FYI, the game isn't case-sensitive when it throws up those confirmation screens. For example, SHADOWS, Shadows, shadows and, if you are so inclined, ShAdOwS will all be accepted to start this quest, as will any other case combo you can think of.
This was released just after Fathers Day... So Happy Father's Day Stalker Daddy.... and another reason to hate Ballas...... Made Jade into a frame while she was preggers... Hits different if your a parent.... Warframe is so amazing.... love the effort the devs put into the game. wished this quest was abit longer thou.... Jade and Soren should have had a longer screen time and maybe a mini jade game play moment.
the void loves unique things so we might eventually help sorren defend the baby from the void cause wally would LOVE to have another small child as a collectible
If you feel nothing from this quest, you have no soul. There is a Jade shrine next to Teshin in the relay. Answers more question. You can play as Stalker in Duviri once you rank up high enough. If you want another orbiter skin, do the Dog Days event. Take 400 pearls to Nakak in Cetus, and she'll see you one. Yes I know my comment is late.
And there's an easter egg after this mission if Shadow appear to kill you while you or one of your teammate are using Jade, he'll leave immediately and drop a word "Never" It makes me cry a lot
Another one, there's a Jade memorial among the tomb stones of Teshin's room in the relays where you can read Jade's experience with Ballas from her perspective.

warframes are altered humans and like ordis mentioned, they last forever. so in case of jade, when she became a warframe. she most like was in the early stages of pregnancy before getting infected. to my understanding of the dialogue before you name the baby. she kept it a secret, most likely to still be together with stalker. since by design they dont have any reproductive organs, nor mouths to eat or anything like that and based on the questline. if we warframes were to have the possibility to reproduce, then it will be by giving your lifeforce to the child, losing the mother. this is just by my personal observation and theory. nothing's concrete
In fact, this quest annoyed me deeply. Like, did they forget what infestation does? Didn't they see Corpus flesh fused with machine parts or Corpus robots fused with biomass? Obviously, an Orokin -- especially Ballas -- would have no second thoughts on experimenting on a pregnant woman (they are literally eating people alive to swap bodies for who knows how long), but she would fuse with her fetus in the process. Absence of Tenno control is perfectly explainable BTW, as was explained in Sacrifice -- Transference bolts are doing the connection and at least one of these two was obviously not fitted with that. Also, why would 'Jade' (seriously? who names _people_ that?) call out to her boyfriend for protection? She knew they were breaking rules enforced by _literal_ gods. When an Orokin would be reported of violation of those rules -- what Soren was expected to do? Cry? It's not explained how 'low guards' operate, but if they are anything even close to Dax, any Orokin could literally stop him from doing even that. Also, it's not explained why they weren't just executed on the spot when they were found out -- higher ups would probably not even be informed about the accident. But the most infuriating part is Xeto ceasing fire on Stalker. She mentioned it herself -- Sisterhood does not give second chances, and she was warned of being observed by Parvos himself... and had a unique chance of presenting the Sisterhood (or Corpus Board) with one and only thing in existence. Wasting that chance forever because of not wanting to eliminate a single father because of his singlefatherness? Remember, that's Corpus we're talking about, and not just some technician 1st class slamming his career (and his own life) into the ground for a hope of a greater good. She's ship captain, the most superior power in space around her ship. Didn't we see how Corpus superiors treat people on Solaris example in Fortuna? What sunshine and rainbow is this? That's not the Corpus I learned to know. Too bad we didn't get the 'get revenge and return the baby' last mission in Sisterhood compound with blood from beheaded (or split in two by Hate swing) Xeto forever staining said baby. _That_ would be an ending resonating with the Warframe I know and love. Also, warframes don't get old. Meaning this camouflaged blob in Stalker's hands will always be on par with 7-9 month babies. Not a bad choice of frame if Lotus or Stalker intends on a nursery massacre, but useless otherwise.
