How about if to find c using like this, the first find Pn by using equation Pn = 0,65 0,85 f'c(Ag-As)+ As fy and then using the force equibilibrium equation Pn = Cc(concrete)+Cs (steel compression)+Ts(steel tension) just one unknown c,next get Mn by using Mn equibilibrium equition

PNA is supposed to be found by force equilibrium. Is it not? What is Cna? Where is P and M applied?

plz sir g solve this for me... at 23 Feb is my papar... a reinforced concrete simply supported beam has a Span of 30'and supports dead load of 1000lbs.ft in addition to it's self weight... design a beam section to resist the factored external binding moment.given fc'=4ksi and fy =6ksi
