Does the chestnut have more training on him. He seems to be way more happy and trusting with your weight signals then the bay was.

evilplaytime I will say yes. The chestnut filly is 3, the gelding only 2. It was listed in the stats.

the chestnut is one of the nicest paso's I've seen, although he still looks like a NERVOUS WRECK. is this just the breed or what people have done to them, they are the most nervous breed of horse i have ever seen, if they are abused in the mouths ( i see GENTLE SWEET horses once again are WAY OVERBRIDLED), like every other paso i have seen, why the hell can't they use a SOFT GENTLE FRENCH LINK SNAFFLE IN THEIR MOUTHS ? with a copper or iron mouth to help them RELAX. why a BIG STRONG MAN has to over bridle such well-behaved horses only leads to their EXTREMELY nervous behavior and short & CHOPPY gaits, you want a RELAXED LONG STRIDING HORSES, it seems like the shorter & choppier the stride & the more people can make these poor animals a NERVOUS WRECK THE BETTER? I DONT GET IT. I have yet to see a nice LONG STRIDING SMOOTH GAITED PASO, anyone that one they are trying to get rid of them because they have over bridled them and shortened the stride & made the poor animals a NERVOUS WRECK. I FEEL SORRY FOR EVERY ONE OF THEM I HAVE SEEN. I COULD RIDE EVERY PASO I HAVE SEEN BETTER THEN THEIR OWNERS OR "TRAINERS. for God's sake, Put a SOFT BIT IN THEIR MOUTHS, DROP THEIR HEADS, SOFTEN YOUR HANDS & relax in the saddle, try to make the ride ENJOYABLE FOR THE HORSE, bring some cookies for them to help them relax when they do something good & CALMLY. these horses look like they HATE THEIR JOBS & IT IS THE SADDES5T BREED OF HORSE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I would love to ride one them someday & SHOW THEIR OWNERS HOW THEY SHOULD BE RIDDEN. because this sure as hell is not the way I would want to be ridden If i were a horse. star by TAKING THOSE DAM SEVERE BITS OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS & TRY TO DO THINGS SLOWLY & CALMLY WITH A SOFT HAND & A SOFT SEAT IN THE SADDLE & LET THEM DROP THEIR HEADS AND SLOW DOWN. you will find their stride lengthens as they relax & will be much smoother & make it more enjoyable for both the HORSE & rider. why anyone would want to ride such an IRRATICALLY NERVOUS ANIMAL IS BIZARRE. they must HATE to see people coming to get them. instead of being allowed to enjoy their work, they are all wound up tighter than 8-day clocks, very sad to watch these animals hate to do what they should like to be doing.

No offense but this comment actually had me sighing in exasperation and rolling my eyes. You obviously have absolutely no experience with thus breed. Some Paso Finos cannot gait thus well which yes, means they have a lower head set and a more bumpy ride. Most Paso Finos however are much smoother and more comfortable with a higher head set. You can see that the riders are not pulling tightly in the reins but rather hold a loose rein, and keeping the horse in gait. NEWBORN FOALS are seen gaiting with their heads in the air and they haven’t ever been touched. And as far a long free stride, my Paso Fino has a very free moving Paso Largo. There are 3 different extra natural gaits to this breed. Paso Fino: short, quick, energetic steps, very collected and precise. Paso Corto: medium collection, medium length steps, and almost all Paso Finos would rather do this than trot. Paso Largo: fast, long steps, minimal collection, it feels like your flying. And as for “I bet these horse hate to see people coming to catch them”, my Paso Fino actually gaits up to greet me when I come with a halter and lead. The horses are energetic because of something unique to the breed called “brio”. It gives the horse a proud, hyper, energetic look, and leaves the horse’s personality gentle but vivacious. And the horses enjoy gaiting. Actually my current problem with my Paso Fino is trying to get him to walk. He hates to walk and instead holds his head in the air and try’s to gait. No he is not abused. He is a happy, healthy, fat, young gelding. I suggest you actually ride a few Paso Finos before embarrassing yourself by saying things you obviously know nothing about

@@fortheloveofhorses6452 THEY ARE OVERBRIDLED & NERVOUS. but bery nice horses, put a soft straight rubber bit in their mouth & see the difference, I have ridden hundredsof pasos, NEVER in a harsh bit seen here, thrreason they seem so nervous, one person does this because they seeothers do it. OVERBRIDLE their poor animals. , ALL HORSES GO TO HEAVEN.
