BANGALORE: Election agent Praveen Peter for Bangalore Central Loksabha Constituency Mansoor Ali Khan leveled allegations against the polling staff for gross violations to facilitate the BJP in a press briefing at the office of Election Commission after filing of an official complaint to the office of the Chief Election Commissioner. He flaunted the complaint copy along with the documentary evidence in support of his claim alleging that the electoral staff is working at behest of the BJP in the ongoing voting process that is on for the physically challenged and senior citizens above the age of 85 years.
Praveen blamed election official staff working at the behest of the BJP clearly ignoring guidelines. Before filing of the complaint copy to the office of the Chief Election Commissioner, he created a ruckus by entering an ongoing board room meeting with representatives of various political parties chaired by the Chief Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar Meena. Sensing trouble commissioner advised Praveen to file a written complaint at his office.
Election Agent for Mansoor Ali Khan filed a written complaint at the office of Chief Election Commissioner and later filed a similar copy with the returning officer at the BBMP supported by documentary evidence in the form of video footage that is evident enough to blame the polling agents involvement in clear violation of free and fair elections. On the assurance of returning officer at the BBMP of a speedy and swift action he left the place with a word of caution to file a criminal case against the culprits involved.
