What if Destiny took the Warframe approach basically.

@@AskRUclipsDad It would likely save the game to move to a Warframe model, but they are too greedy and now that SONY owns them they will remain just as greedy. Dont think for a second that all the content they put in the game that was not solo friendly didnt send a lot of people packing either. there is a direct link. Making dungeons 3 main raids was pretty stupid as well.

      That's a good idea

I think it would a be an interesting to incorporate PVE with PVP but make it part of the story.
Like if Zavala and Ikora split and we had to choose who to follow. Who do you follow? Our leader for the last 10 years or the most powerful Guardian?
It would add variety to create a civil war and certain locations have hostile areas where you can fight players in the world.

A civil war would be pretty cool

when you said "Bungee's Artistry" the only thing that came to mind was their artistis skill in fucking up literally everything when they had created a machine (read Destiny as a franchise) that prints money while being legal.

I got an email [that i likely shouldn't be leaking] a few days back about a playtest happening right before heresy comes out at the start of next month. they want community feedback / QA.

I would love to see the game get a ton of improvements before the next season starts!

Destiny as a whole is like an ice cream. The lore is the bowl on which the scoops stand, ech scoop is an aspect of the game, gunpaly, music, visuals etc. The bowl is too big for the scoops, we desire more content that fits the bowl as usual. But Bungie just wont do it. There is so much missed potential to count, we hear about epic tales, events, heroics, timelines so interesting. Yet out of our reach. 5 years ago we got Beyond Light and in that we got the Glassway strike. We end the strike in front of a portal to a Vex home world. Never to step in, never to discuss about it. We invaded the flag ship of the Witness and "killed" Nezarec, never to explore the ship and its secrets. We snooped into Calus's new ship and found some insnae findings, and for the most importat ship we just leave? We have a tree of silver wings on it never mentioned once. We never visited the frozen planet the Drifter talked about. Cocytus Aperture is filled with portals and gateways and the Nine, never for us to see or visit. We stopped the ressurection of Oryx as a lightbearer, something that if we couldnt stopped would send a literal shockwave in the lore, but alas we stopped them "right in time". We hear about other deciples, will we ever meet them? what are the dreaded Aphelion that sound just insanely deadly. WE HAVEN'T EVEN MET THE TRUE COMBAT FRAMES OF THE VEX FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! And we will never will. Becuase every fight we take has to be balanced for gameplay. And that is bad. Instead of being buffed by the light and mowing legions as we canonically can, every fight will have dozen or so ads. Never for us to fight as the lore implies. We will never reclaim Torabatl, We will never venture to Riis. We will never jump to Volantis or Fundement. We hear about dozens of Alien species that we will never meet, Ahsa that whale alien was ignored almost entirley by this point, Commander Sloan is Half taken and we dont do anything about it but if Mithraxx or Osiris are slightly sick its an emergancy? they aint even weilding the light! We just witnessed the true Kell of Kells but it was so anti cilmatic, no skiffs bowed and the Traveler once again muted and silent.
And the truth is- Bungie almost never, ever make new enemy models, unless their life depends on it, so i hope they make some soon. Oryx took so many but we cant see a Taken Dreg or a Taken wyvern or cyclops? We will never see a Vex combat unit. new fallen tanks or almost anything, Even the Dread cant be on their own, they have to acompany some other faction because they lack models.
TL:DR- Bungie are lazy and they dare not make a dent in the story that will make us leave the Tower, heh, they couldnt even fix the original one.

Number 2 is my favorite picture. Also, two ideas I would love to see Bungie implement.
1: Forge Mode for the Crucible. Like with Halo 3, let the community build PvP maps. Bungie wouldn't need to spend lots of time making PvP viable. The community would do it for them.
2: Unvault the Red War campaign. It was far from perfect, but it was a great introduction to the game and the world. It would help draw more new players into the game if they felt like the game had a beginning.

@matt00041 I like the ideas. Thr game definitely needs more customization for the players such as pvp maps actual artistic coloring of characters and weapons as well as fine tuning our perks

They stared on the road to failure the moment they decided on their seasonal model. They spent years making disposable content, adding it and removing it a few months later. They could have been growing the game over the years, instead they kept it small and stale.
