This makes me cry. I think back to when I was just a little girl, holding my very first PlayStation in awe. Final Fantasy 7 was the first game that captured my heart. I can still see my old strategy guide and memory card, back when those were our only lifelines to our stories and adventures. I remember laughing as I renamed Barret to "Milkman" because I thought it was funny. I remember skipping school with my sister just to go play and fight beasts in the wild. We were so immersed, so alive in that world. And oh, how I longed for a Chocobo in real life. I don’t know if any of the developers will ever know how much this game means to me, but Final Fantasy 7 is a piece of my soul. It holds such a special place in my heart. You are, quite literally, my childhood in a game wrapped in pixels and music. Thank you for all the beautiful memories.
