Last boat trip out to Cville Fox River Pool - the end of an era!

- The dam in Carpensterville is nearly gone. I was able to make one last trip out in my boat before it is completely gone. I'm calling this my last boat trip because I don't think I'll regularly be able to take it out there any longer. Hopefully will still be able to when the water is high.

i've got bass with that s shape further down stream too. So many prime spots out of the water now....and I don't use treble hook stuff a lot for same reasons. Single way easier

I appreciate all your content. Your Cville pool vids brought me to the spot and I wish I could've fished it more before the dam was removed. Some of the best smallie fishing I've found close to home. There's something about the color and patterns on the smallies in the Fox that I love. This dam removal may be the push I need to buy a fishing kayak!

Why does the Blue Craw work on the Fox?
Small bits of blue is a staple color that will work nearly anywhere. It might not be the best color for a stretch but always a decent choice. Hence why black and blue is a great choice.
I mostly was using the blue craw, which is just green pumpkin and blue, because I was out of straight green pumpkin
