Well, they killed him off so the problem was solved with his exit. I think the show will finish strong without him and I am still looking forward to it.

Season 6 is confirm I think Beth survives for that reason, Beth is next in line of fan favorite after John.
It was planned but it's no longer going through.but it leads me to believe she and Rip survive though
