I'm pretty sure it's a band-aid of sorts bc he said that he gets infections in his helix piercing easily, so he wants to protect it from worsening when he does contact activities/harsh touches.
They're not allowed to have piercings on Chinese Broadcast from what I heard, and Xuxi's helix one can't be removed for too long so it's taped over to hide it
