Lord Jamar sounds bitter here, its as if Eminem never made critically acclaimed songs like Stan & lose yourself, black or white it doesn't matter you'll relate to those two songs. Despite all the crazy Eminem brings to his music he does have content. Comparing Em to Macklemore is an insult, Mack is a average rapper. Em comes from the ghetto & as a black guy I fuxx with his music, you can't ignore talent.
You're an ignorant ass clown. Eminem GANGSTER IMAGE since when LMAOOO, give a break from these bs. How the fuck the battles on the movie are scripted when YOU STILL CAN SEARCH THEM ON YOU TUBE and he spits some of the lines he used on the movie. Wasting all those lines for nothing lol
@Lesane Crooks Lord Jamar is a racist bitch this is a free country if white people want to do hip hop they can if Russians want to do country music they can we as a human race we should come together and help one another we all want a perfect world but people like you and Lord Jamar are holding it down people like Jamar are just haters.
Also Ice Cube "Eminem is one of the best rappers that's ever blessed the mic, and I feel the same way about Lil Wayne. I wouldn't mind going in to battle with those two"... Lets not forget Ice Cube also put Eminem in his top 10.
"I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in. It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me. But in this industry I'm the cause of a lot of envy, so when I’m not put on this list the shit does not offend me. That's why you see me walk around like nothing's bothering me. Even though half you people got a fucking problem with me. You hate it but you know respect you’ve got to give me The press's wet dream like Bobby and Whitney. Nate hit me."
This is why I fuck with Lord Jamar. He says what everyone else is afraid to say. No doubt Eminem is nice when it comes to skill, but when it comes to his OVERALL content most of his shit are things black people don't really fuck with.
I remember when eminem first came out I was excited but that excitement was over by the third album, I haven't even bothered listening to his music coz I couldn't relate, try telling that to white people and they'll think you are a hater
He is white, that's true.. But calling him out with Timberlake and Macklemore is a little disrespectful, since Justin nor Macklemore do Hip-Hop(Macklemore is a rapper yes, a good one, but not a hip hop artist.) Em did just too much for the hip hop comunity to be called up with these too. (They are both cool, no hate, just not hip hop)
Dontdoittoyoself He may not be a racist, but he definitely is one of those two things you mentioned: a hater. A bigot as well, whenever it comes to him talking about Eminem.
Vanilla Ice was a one hit wonder, whilst Eminem brought out classic albums like the Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show and classic songs like Lose Yourself, Stan and The Real Slim Shady.
Why though? Do others get mad when someone puts Tupac at the top of their list? It's just because Em is white, you hate it when people put him at the top, who cares? People have their own opinions. Em is my fav rapper, so? What does that matter to you? You still have your own list.
Noctis Caelum no one is hating on him because he's white but to put Eminem in a top 5 or as the goat is completely asinine. record sales don't mean shit and technical ability is only one aspect of the art form as a whole. Eminem has put out good stuff in the past but he was never at a god level so to speak.
Looking at all these comments....People aren't understanding what Jamar is saying, and I'm not even saying I agree 100% with what he is saying....He said EMINEM DOES HAVE SKILL AND TALENT AND IS MECHANICALLY GOOD. It's the content in a lot of his music that he doesn't feel...You can have a sickest flow and best syllables and multi schemes but if you're talking about fucking a midget that has saggy titties and then taking a shit on her chest for 4 bars that doesn't make it good...Eminem doesn't rhyme about that specific topic but it's just an example...Speaking your mind is not hating, it's being real with how you feel. If you can't handle someone's opinion the internet isn't the place for you...
Quedo Rants I'm merely trying to better explain why Jamar doesn't like Eminem's music.....Like he said, Hip-Hop was based on putting soul into the music which I guess he doesn't see with Eminem....It's his opinion, not mine. So don't tell me it's a stupid theory when I'm only trying to understand and explain his opinion on the video.....But I understand what you're saying.
donkeylips88 that's bullshit..hip hop was forged by telling the listener that you are the shit and that you live in the dopest neighborhoods, have the flyest clothes, and hang out with the prettiest girls. it was about boasting and grand standing. so all that soul bullshit he's spittin is wack...
REALGz23 Did I say that's how I feel personally? No. I like Eminem's music for the most part. If you really payed attention to my comment, I was breaking down what Lord Jamar was saying to better explain his point of view. So if you don't have anything constructive to say or if you want to assume that my comments are dumb because you don't have the foresight to read what I said in it's entirety then that is your problem.
He is a legend he got the right to say and act how the fuck he wants !! He is absolutely right !! You just mad because you know it's true: Eminem is not even a thought amongst real Hip Hop not mainstream poo rap masquerading as Hip Hop
@@adriancarlos9155 That's not true. Rappers like Rakim and Kool G Rap have said Em is one of the greatest MCs of all-time. It doesn't get more real about Hip Hop than those 2 legends.
DE SUPER VILLIAN Who's thinking that their good and no whites don't think that it differs from a white guy who listens to that and or a black who does and doesn't that race factors don't count i myself dont listen to personally
2LiterJay For Yeshua I wouldn’t say that he just speaking on how Stan’s make Eminem the best ever in hip hop and hip hop is more than just rhyming good and etc but feeling emotions that inner city kids can relate to.
canuckle head Yeah, he goes as far as he can to discredit Eminem. He knows he can't outright say Eminem sucks, but he will constantly try and weaken Eminem's position as a top rapper. He is always changing his criteria too. He will discredit rappers like Macklemore or Iggy because they don't recognise or pay homage to early Hip Hop artists, but Eminem does that. He will discredit the Beastie Boys and Rick Rubin because they are heavily rock influenced, Eminem isn't really any more rock influenced than any other rapper. He completely ignores how much Eminem has done for Hip Hop and it is an insult to call him a guest. Not because he is white but because he has put everything he has into it. Eminem IS Hip Hop. Like all of the other greats.
Winston Smith Good points! This guy just has a problem with us white people, obviously. And he's butt hurt that the greatest rapper ever is white. Get over it, you racist bigot. Rap ain't strictly black anymore. Hasn't been for quite a while now. I never even heard of this clown before these VladTV videos. So who the fuck is he to go at Eminem and try to discredit him? He's a rapper? I couldn't tell from how I had never even heard of him prior to these interviews.
+canuckle head wdf? did you just say "the greatest rapper ever is white". Some of yall are delusional. WOW. You don't even know who Lord Jamar is? Eminem himself has to pay respects to this guy. If you don't know what you are speaking on STFU

Speaking of Larry Bird, I remember when Isiah Thomas got alot of flak for agreeing with Dennis Rodman for saying, if Larry Bird was black he would considered an average player.
"And though I'm not the first king of controversy I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley To make black music so selfishly And use it to get myself wealthy (HEY!)" - Eminem
Nah Jamar. Im black and Eminem is my favorite rapper ever, and a lot of ppl I grew up with also love his shit... And if people only like rap that they can "relate" to, then we wouldn't like 95% of rap or music in general
tochiRTA cookouts is mainly 90's rap or old school songs.. And Em doesn't make many songs that are for a club setting… his shit fits raves moreso than those things
"there's no soul in his music" ... what? Seriously? On top of being one of the illest lyricist in Hip Hop he's one of the few rappers that can make you FEEL something! He has sad, happy, funny, dark, serious, club type songs and you're saying he has no soul in his music? Lose yourself, Not Afraid, Mockingbird, Till I collapse, Stan, Kim, Beautiful, Mosh, cleaning out my closet, say goodbye to hollywood etc etc.... they all have SOUL in them because they make us, as listeners travel down the road he went on through our imagination, not a lotta rappers/musicians can do that! You might have good lyrics but the way you deliver them to the listeners show how GOOD you actually are! Eminem, NAS, Biggie and Tupac are in my opinion the only ones that can do that! I love them all! Jamar is a hating prick in this interview... Eminem is white, we get it, he does black music we GET IT but you're hating because he does it BETTER than a lotta black artists! Jesus!
@@Maal7432 You're trying to say there's no emotion in his music. I can't get behind that statement personally, I feel that way about all of these new school rappers but it's all subjective.
Music is the ONLY avenue of entertainment that you success isn't SOLELY based on your ACTUAL SKILL. Football, Basketball, Baseball, your popularity and success is DIRECTLY correlated to your TALENT and performance. Music, on the other hand, is predicated on MARKETABILITY. Em is the easiest to market. He White in a Black Dominated field and he is pretty good. His sales are for the EXACT same reason why Tiger Woods was the most popular in Golf for a good stretch: when you are a Very VIABLE performer in a field that is predominantly different from your usual demographic. But of course, the LOGIC of this will be LARGELY ignored....
If ppl knew about body language and demeanour they would know lord jamar isn't bitter or hating.. he really does believe what he says, so that means thats his opinion/view.. (btw hes not alone with his opinion)
And as far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell alone Or I'll show you an Elvis clone Walk up in this house you own, brush my pelvic bone You should telephone and go fetch me the remote Put my feet up and just make myself at home I belong here, clown, don't tell me 'bout the culture I inspire the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the Seans, the K-Dots, the 5'9"s, and oh Brought the world 50 Cent, you did squat, pissed and moaned But I'm not gonna fall… bitch! 😂👍
Thank you Jamar.. Mufuckas been hyping Eminem for years.. He raps all that crazy shit and niggas wanna drop him in the top 5 in some conversations... Crazy
It's like this one guy mentioned on here earlier, white people invented Basketball yet probably 80% of the league is black... I just don't understand why Lord Jamar keeps getting camera time over these topics. The more you talk about race & how which race shouldn't do what, the more you hold us back from moving forward as a nation(or even as a planet). I'm almost sure Dr. King would've looked down in shame at what Lord Jamar's trying to accomplish here, it's kind of embarrassing actually. If a white sports/music legend were to do the same video Lord Jamar just did in terms of something where the majority of the participants are white & the minority is black, "You guys are guests in our house" then only then is it racist, right?... Well this is racist too.. And I don't even own a single Eminem CD, nor do I intend on doing so.
I kind of missed Lord Jamar's point...."he rhymes nice, but he is corny"....what else is there after that? Oh, people don't feel him that I know....and what does that mean? The idea that you HAVE to acknowledge his ability is all that matters. Em cannot rhyme about things specific to Lord Jamar...if he did he would have never made it in Hip Hop...because it's not considered authentic. Just like I do not relate to Jay-Z being a millionaire...because I am not. But that is literally ALL he raps about. I cannot relate to Nas growing up in QB...because I was in South Carolina. So it just sounds like Lord Jamar is bitter and angry. Em cannot control who likes him or buys his albums, but what he can control has no color. Regardless of who created the art or not. That would be the equivalent of the creators of basketball, who were White, saying they only "feel" Larry Bird or Steve Nash and that regardless of how skilled Michael Jordan was or how much he won, he is a guest in a White's man's sport. Sounds absurd right......exactly. Hip Hop was about if you were nice....not if you were nice AND ONLY BLACK...smh.
Ok. What Lord Jamar means is that hip-hop is MORE than just if you can rhyme nice. Em can definitely rhyme well but his CONTENT is stuff that MOST Blacks can't relate to because how many Blacks have a fucking clue about growing up in a fucking trailer park? Beating up their own mom? Popping pills only been popular among young Black kids for about 10-12 years, so that's a new trend. Hip-Hop is skill plus message. Em got the skill but his message only really makes sense to people who go to white comedy shows where the comic has to make up weirdo shit that's ONLY funny to their own people. Music and comedy are usually reflections of what their audiences can RELATE to and delivered in a easy to understand way. If a comic has to explain why their jokes are funny, then they aren't.
@@marcuswalker6764 yeah, because Migos have such deep messages. Most of Em's songs aren't about that, he's been sober for 15 years, doesn't even perform cleaning out my closet, ect., I could go on. How is Not afraid a song black people can't connect to, or Till I collapse, or Lose yourself or Beautiful? If you're human you should be able to connect to it. But you don't care about that or that great point above that that guy said with basketball or any other rational argument I could write, because you don't like him because he's white and the face of rap, and you don't think that's fair. Which is fine, I completely understand it, but will someone please just admit that, and stop inventing arguments that don't make any sense, let's call it what it is, because now you all sound like old racist white folk who invent millions of reasons why "it's not that I don't like black people, it's just that they are better at running than at finance", or something like that, it's mind-blowing reading this comments, in a sad way.
Hip hop is MORE than just being able to rhyme smh. The CONTENT is what makes a rapper great. Sales don't mean much since you can sell records without being all that great. Music is the only genre of entertainment where your success isn't directly correlated with your actual talent level. It's all about marketing.
@@bbalasevic look I understand you're in your feelings and probably didn't know shit about hip hop. Of course y'all don't do y'all research about what hip hop is but you should so that your argument doesn't totally revolve around "look at his sales". Listen to hip hop historians explain the origin of hip hop culture and then come back.
Brand Nubian 80/90s was actually good. Well if you like old school.. check out "Brand Nubian - All for one". But I get your point, he's irrelevant now.
Eminem's albums were always overrated to me. Maybe I just couldn't relate to the material but Em still has one of the sickest flows of all time and is lyrically talented but I get what LJ is saying. There's a reason Eminem sells more than any other rapper and it's not because his music is so much better than any other rapper. He's definitely more talented than Macklemore but you can't deny the factor that race plays in both of their success.
Lord Jamar, we have to disagree here. Eminem would still be top 10 all time even if he was black based off his skills. Now he would have never outsold 2Pac like he has, but he'd still be top 10. Being white does give him an advantage, but let's not act like he's garbage, dude is better than 95% of all rappers all time.
The problem is that black folk can be so passionate about their creations and preserving the roots of it all that we articulate our thoughts sometimes coming across as bitter. But there is nothing wrong with preserving roots of an art form or culture. There are so many moving parts especially when it comes to black history that it can be deeply complicated.
"And far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell alone Or I'll show you an Elvis clone Walk up in this house you own, thrust my pelvic bone Use your telephone and go fetch me the remote Put my feet up and just make myself at home I belong here, clown! TheGuy0verTh3r3 LMAOOO i was actually joking about the shower curtain thing, but don't be too surprised because Vlad gets wetter than a porn star if you mention the name Eminem. Seriously, bring up Eminem's name to Vlad and he starts smiling like Gomar Pyle, the sun comes out, the birds are chirping beautiful melodies, flowers are blooming to a ripe peak, and he's sitting there with his legs crossed with dreamy eyes. . so yeah I wouldn't be too surprised to see a shower curtain in his bathroom, or an Eminem 8x5 next to his Soap dish in the bathroom with scented Eminem candles! The both of them are gayAF!!!
That'd be like me Claiming everything "white" people invented just because I'm considered "white" by this country... You didn't start rap. Other individuals started it. You just happen to share physical attributes of those individuals. Also what if a person is only half "black" then do they get your special rights to hip-hop or is it like a 50% off kinda thing? I'd love to know all the specifics. Thank you.
***** Yet people from all backgrounds participate in it. A few black people started it and suddenly hip-hop is only black? That doesn't make much sense
He isn't being racist. Hip hop is black music and it's understandable that he'd be worried about what people snatching it away just like they did with soul, jazz, r and b, and rock and roll.
+Ben Martin Technically, the trumpet, guitar, and microphones are all white instruments, so everything that you mentioned is actually ours. Come to think of it, electricity is a white discovery, so I think it's high time you shut the over of your notebook. Ok so now all music is "black music" and no one is entitled to do music unless they are of black haratige.....I'll not deny the fact, yes black culture started the movment of most music generas, however to state that one culture has any soul claim to anything art form wise is a shame. Isn't it far better to say that black culture started music art form giving way for other cultures to embrace and even add upon. Certainly we should recognize that black culture gave us a great many gifts and we should be thankful..but to say you own it would be selfish. Art is universal and should be shared. Thats all im trying to say. You are entitled to your opinion but I just cant agree.
When people talk about Eminem why do they ignore songs like, White America, Mosh or yellow brick road. Also before Em was signed to Dre, Em had a lot more diverse rhymes and Dre was the one who picked those crazy tacks that Jamar is complaining about.
tochiRTA If White America was dull it wouldn't be one of his most quoted songs. Em has plenty of songs with content, infact in the early 2k's he was one of the very few mainstream rappers with content.
tochiRTA So what if its dull. White America explains everything people bitch about Eminem. He talks about how if he wasn't white he wouldn't get the record sells he gets but because he was white no one wanted sign him. Mosh is a political song, Political discussion is one the major aspects of rap. While in yellow Brick road he has a clip about a white talking about who rap is going destroy future generations.
Jeff Jamaal Really? His song Beautiful is about the collapse of the rust belt and the deterioration of Detroit. Also I would check run rabbit run and 8 mile. 8 mile has my favorite by Em. I look like a bum. My clothes ain't about shit. I'm at the salvation Army trying to salvage a out fit.
I'm black n I can name at least seven black rappers that rap about the same shit as em .....I know a couple that's worse Lord Jamar is generalizing people aren't all the same black or white bruh

Eminem is the best rapper, period! And he never uses the N-Word, and he has a creative mind like no other rapper!!!! What has Lord Jamar did in the last 15 years, when it comes to rap? If this was LL Cool J, I could respect that opinion more. Envy is mother!
You most have lost your mind. Rap is about how skilled you are at word play. Not your color. And I'm not Nigga, I'm Proud Black Man. And I will excuse your ignorance on accurate history because I know that you are only repeating what you have learned on the street from other so call Niggas. You are ridiculous and if I might add, if being in the top 8% income bracket, makes me a uncle tom, then I guess that's what I am. I don't engage in Nigga conversations, now if you want to have an intelligent debate, let's have one. I stand by what I said, he is the best rapper in my opinion, because his story telling and word play is superb.

I see where he's coming from. It's true that Eminem's not the best, and I don't relate to his lyrics either, yet if you spend any time in white media, like youtube or TV, you'd start to think he is by far the best. And when you know his overrated status is only due to white people talking louder than black people, that's got to be unnerving. It's the same shit that happened in Elvis' time. As Eminem the "god of rap", Elvis "the king" too stood with black people and he too felt sorry for them, he claimed that his music was an homage and admitted he owed everything to them. So he understood what Jamar is saying here, that the racist music industry made him like it made Eminem. So I understand the frustration that the Elvis racist phenomenon is happening again as it always did. Also I've noticed too, black people don't listen to Eminem that much.
So this guy doesnt relate to Eminem killing his girl and taking pills but can relate to another black rapper talking about killing people and smoking weed and selling dope? Ok...I see a HUGE difference, this guy just wanna segregate and claim hip-hop as a "black" thing when its really a CULTURAL thing. Em grew up with majority blacks and can rap better than most blacks. Why does race even matter? Side note, can this Jamar guy even spit a 16 bar verse that can match Em?
People always only focus on the "crazy $hit" that Eminem has rapped about & completely ignore the TONS of songs filled with SUBSTANCE, songs about the culture, his storytelling, etc.... Eminem himself said he's a guest in hip hop & ALWAYS pays homage to the legends who paved the way in hip hop. Why doesn't anyone talk about that? No one chooses what race they're born. None of us can help what race we are. But Eminem grew up in the hood & was the minority where he was from in Detroit (yes, I know he's originally from Missouri.... but he grew up in Detroit). PROOF (RIP) believed in him & is the reason he is where he is today followed by Dr. Dre. He came from the bottom. He started in battle rap. He didn't have a father. His mom was an addict. He grew up in poverty. And yet people still say only white people can relate to him. C'mon man. That's cap! What it boils down to is his RACE. Period. Because ANY race can relate to his background & PLENTY of his songs. People just choose to focus on the fact that he's white & his crazy, outlandish songs like "Kim," "Cleanin' Out My Closet" (which he now regrets making & refuses to perform), "Insane," "Fack," "Rain Man," etc..... but what about "Till I Collapse," "Darkness," "Castle" & "Arose", "Like Toy Soldiers," "Lose Yourself," "When I'm Gone," "Mockingbird," all the features he's done that are amazing (Forever, Drop The World, EPMD 2, etc...), etc.... Gimme a break. Just like people judge me solely based on my appearance & assume Idk $hit about hip hop when I've been listening to hip hop for over 30 years & I'm a writer & can catch bars with the best of them. As long as WE continue to focus on race, rac!sm will never end. Stop giving the ELITES exactly what they want.... TO DIVIDE & CONQUER. It's 2022. We're better & smarter than that or at least I'd like to hope we are.
To say there is no soul in Ems songs is crazy. Those who write off Em as simply shock rap is crazy. Dude has some of the most emotionally charged lyrics. And he's honestly way more open than most MCs and not afraid to put it all on wax. I mean the dude wrote Stan which is one of the best examples of great story telling. The Way I Am, Lose Yourself, Run Rabbit, Cleaning Out My Closet, Mosh, Yellow Brick Road, Going Through Changes, Headlights. I can go on and on on how Em is only shock rap to those who wrote him off as that. Not to mention his verses on Renegade that he wrote and produced the track. Not saying he's the greatest of all time. I don't think anyone deserves that title, but he is def one of the greatest.
nmessai215 I wouldn't say the truth completely, it's more of his opinion on the situation. He's also a hater how he talks about Eminem, which is why his ass gets flamed by Eminem's fans like he deserves! He also is very bigoted, ignoring the fact that many of his favorite rappers and rappers held in high regard by many have went on record to put Eminem in their top list of rappers when he says "black people don't have Eminem in their top list of rappers."
@EseChava 22 You're right for calling him all the names you did. He's a troll, nothing more. He shouldn't be taken seriously. I've seen enough of these Vlad TV interviews with him talking about Eminem to see what he's up to, and I noticed that once he discovered people really dislike when people talk badly about Eminem, being the bully that he is he saw Eminem as his new punching bag. Once I got hip to this I stop tuning in to him, because of the ridiculous bullshit that he lets come out of his mouth whenever he talks about Eminem, that he just says because he purely is trying to piss off viewers. Like I said, this guy's a troll. Nothing to be taken seriously, anyone who is reading this comment right now. I suggest you all do what I did and stop tuning in to his videos because he is showing no signs of stopping this charade because he is loving every second of people saying they hate him and whatnot. He's probably jerking off as he reads the comments because they excite him that much. I've seen so many videos where he is talking about Slim Shady and contradicts himself after saying the opposite of what he said in a previous video, and I know this misbehavior all stems from the fact that whenever the cameras turn on and he's asked about Eminem, he feels the need to start trashing him because he knows there are viewers out there who hate it and that makes him happy. Lord Jamar is a toxic person and I recommend everyone to stop tuning in to him so you can avoid these mind games he plays and keep a clear head. I blame DJ Vlad as well, because he keeps asking him about Eminem, and when Lord Jamar says bullshit that's not true and whatnot DJ Vlad never stands up for Eminem, even though he claims to be a fan of his since he said he listens to Marshall Mathers' music.
@EseChava 22 If he is a racist like you think, why do you think it is that he says he likes other white rappers, like Vinnie Paz and RA the Rugged Man?
I'm white and not a fan of Eminem. He can rap, but I don't consider him a great songwriter. I agree with what Lord Jamar says in a lot of these videos for the most part, but he needs to stop assuming every white person likes Eminem that much
thats really how people think though. Ive been in all black studios... they are HIGHLY intimidated by any white male that comes in to record... they even hated on Iggy Azalea hard.... took her off the map.
Eminem has been wack for awhile now.. I guess yall never heard of other white rappers in the game that actually have lyrical skills. Im not saying Em doesnt but his beat selection, guest apperances, etc.. have been garbage on his last few albums. Id rather listen to Vinnie Paz, iLL BiLL, Yelawolf, Mac Miller, J Cole/Logic these boys are half white no? than to listen to Eminems last few albums. At the top of his game tho Eminem was on some crazy next level shit. SSLP and MMLP are both instant classic weather you like him or not.
Lmao....yall haters are always reaching. So yea...Eminem lost a rap battle.....in 1 9 9 6.....thats 21 years ago..LOL....So that's your proof that he can't battle?? And I'm sorry but ain't nobody touching Em lyrically. Some may have some bars that make you go...."Wow!" However Em's creativity is stratospheric and it comes out in his rhymes. He can rhyme words that don't even naturally rhyme....but yall like to hate because he's popular. If Eminem were underground yall haters would be offering him as an example of a rapper that could slay...somebody else on top of the commercial rap game and that's facts..
I felt where Lord Jamar Coming from because after Slim Shady dropped his 1st 3 albums & when his 4th album drop I was like Ooookay time to hang this shit up! Once Eminem story was told that was it.
Nick Pagano WHAT ABOUT AFRICA?...IT WILL BE BETTER WHEN WHITE PEOPLE LEAVE AND STOP STEALING THE RESOURCES AND KILLING THE NATIVES BUT ETHIOPIA HAS NEVER BEEN COLONIZED BY THE WHITE MAN HE CAN'T WIN THERE THANKS TO HAILE SELASSIE I AND THAT'S WHY WE AND AFRICA WILL PREVAIL.
I hate when nobodies talk trash about greats just so they can get noticed. Nobody has ever heard about Lord Jamar. I've only seen him bash white people. Nobody has ever thrown together flow and lyrics like Em has. He is hands down one of the best rappers. Off the dome I bet he is unmatched. And sorry Jamar but lyric relatableness isn't a big deal. It's refreshing to have an Em spit out something different than how much money, hoes, or cars you have because that was rap in the 2000s. Go back to being irrelevent while Eminem is placed among the Gods not only in Rap but Music in general.
I hate when white people claiming Eminem is the best then making more claims how other rappers only talk about sex, money, and drugs like they hip hop fans. It's obvious you don't know hip hop. That's so many rapper right now that are amazing. Hip hop isn't all about life problems and being talking about depressed shit. Hip hop is diverse. Rappers like Future and 2chainz are trap artist and make music specially for turning up at parties and clubs. Just because their lyrics aren't deep doesn't mean it's not hip hop. Then there's rappers like chance tha rapper, joey badass, Kendrick Lamar and Vince staples who talk about life's struggles and how they live in their town. The majority of white people who obsesses over Eminem only listen to radio hip hop. Everything on the radio is trash because the music is designed to be catchy and simplified.
"Pop you then pop a molly"-Duke Da Beast. Tyga has a song called "Molly". Trinidad James probably mentions it in every song he's ever rapped. This guy should have no business saying whose wack and whose good. When you google him or youtube him all you get is VladTV interviews. He's a pedestrian.
***** Well coco isn't really a pill. Cocaine is actually look at as a "rich person" drug and actually has true status symbol. While pills are looked at as a cheaper/easier/quicker fix. Molly included. It's all just bullshit. Drugs shouldn't be used for anything.
This is a hard opinion to agree with. I KINDA get where Jamar is coming from but I don't know. Em is one of the best ever. Timberlake, he got talent too. I sot of get where Jamar is going but Eminem's talent matches his success.
Cut the shit. That's ignorant as fuck. There are PLENTY of Black rappers talking about positive topics but the powers that be will not allow them to get their air time that they deserve. It won't get the rotations at radio stations because most young blacks can't relate to that positivity because of the conditions the VAST MAJORITY have to endure.
I agree 100% with this dude, I my like 4-5 songs but other than that I don't fuck with Em! Records sales don't mean shit! You telling me lil wayne is better than Rakim? guru? Lol
SpeakMyMind Really? Because Lord Jamar did just that on another video. He used Barkley's opinons as a reference. And why did you refuse to comment on Jay-Z and DMX? Because youre dumb? A coward? or because your entire argument has now been blown open? Goddamn, black people really do have zero intelligence now. What happened to you guys???
Tf nigga the only thing they have in common is that they're white. He doesn't talk about how there are so many black rappers with the same exact style.
100% real rap, people my not like it, but Jamar is speaking the gospel truth. I like Em's rhyming skills and flow, it doesn't stop the truth from being the truth.
Lord jamar needs to keep that same energy for people in white sport culture, the thing is really silly, I bet if you asked people in chad ,Somalia, niger if they thought that rap was part of their culture. RSPCA is African American culture. Conglese people are guests aswell then
but isn't that why he became famous? because of his crazy lyrics. I heard that when Dre heard Eminem he liked what he was rapping about because he was white so he knew he could get away with what he was rapping about so of course it's not something "black people fuck with". I mean if he was rapping about things that black people rap about wouldn't people call him a poser and tell him to be himself
@@careyqueen3606 what main stream media... you lot say a lot of gibberish... Eminem isn’t anything but a talented rapper that showed his prowess from day one.. he came second in the Olympics Rap 97 and u all can see there is talent.. he has written songs for Dr Dre (Forget abt Dre) and also produced one of Jay Z big songs Renegade.. so it’s sad when people actually work their way to the top then people like u claim it’s privilege lmao... everyone in Dre’s tree is giving a chance to make songs and MOVIES... NWA did it, Em did it and 50 did it so there’s no bias anywhere
I’m a black man and I totally agree with this, people matter of fact certain hip hop ends affiliate hip hop with blackness and once one doesn’t fit that criteria they try to pull you down. If Eminem finds himself in a controversial racial situation just watch the hate pour out from people. Sad world we live in.
Jake Peterson Only rappers I can think of being better than Em are Reggie and Nas. Maybe Face and Biggie (if he’d had a longer career RIP) Haven’t listened to Pac much so I cannot judge. Yes. Em isn’t overrated. Definitely one of the GOATs.
Lord Jamar, much respect. I've been listening to you since Slow Down when Brand Nubian was the shit but come on, Eminem is a lyrical giant. He would crush you on any given day. I think you're hating because a white boy has way more skills than you ever had. Hip Hop was started because dudes wanted to tell their stories, whether it be life story or street story. Eminem tells his stories but because he's white, he's discredited. Stop hating and give props where props are due. Stop making this a black or white thing. You can't place Macklemore and Eminem in the same category just because their both white because Eminem has has legendary skills, Macklemore is just a passer through.
Thought I was gonna hear wild shit from Jamar, but he spoke the truth. I can agree that Eminem is probably one of the best technical rappers ever in hip hop, but I never felt his stuff very much other than a couple songs here and there. I don't think Jamar was being a hater but just speaking his opinion in a very blunt form.
bitch mj own that pop shit, pop was more likely jazz back then mixed up with blues and shit, you can still listen to brown or ray charles or quincy jones some of theirs songs have pop rythm in them, wtf u saying
Johnson Taylor im black and my point was that if eminem shud stay out of rap then black should stay out of alot of things like basketball and nearly every sport. but i dont agree with that logic and think any1 can do wtf they want
I love Lord Jamar cuz he's introspective, and tells it how he sees it; not worrying about what ppl will think. He's totally right! Eminem is lyrically gifted (technically), but the words and sound bytes are thrown together just to tell twisted stories. That's not impressive, that's just pushing buttons and eliciting a response. Plus, I don't like the way his voice sounds, or that angry tone he uses.
That's just a bandwagon comment man. I doubt you've listened to all his albums. Relapse, Recovery and MMLP2 all differ in sound, and are all skilled albums. Would be strange if you would believe 3 projects with different sounds to be wack, while it has skill. Encore had some wack songs, most of the album actually was really good.

Why though? Do others get mad when someone puts Tupac at the top of their list? It's just because Em is white, you hate it when people put him at the top, who cares? People have their own opinions. Em is my fav rapper, so? What does that matter to you? You still have your own list.
Agreed
Quedo Rants Eminem is gay
donkeylips88 that's bullshit..hip hop was forged by telling the listener that you are the shit and that you live in the dopest neighborhoods, have the flyest clothes, and hang out with the prettiest girls. it was about boasting and grand standing. so all that soul bullshit he's spittin is wack...
REALGz23
Did I say that's how I feel personally? No. I like Eminem's music for the most part. If you really payed attention to my comment, I was breaking down what Lord Jamar was saying to better explain his point of view. canuckle head Yeah, he goes as far as he can to discredit Eminem.
“Black music” is not a music genre
Sports and music don't function on the same dynamics. If it did, the best athletes wouldn't be black -they'd all be white.
Lord Jamar is a D list rapper. Ask Rakim, Kool G, Nas what they think.
About Jamar or about Eminem?
pigskin
naw he's a t list rapper, traaaaash
He probably on their s list. Shit list
@@marcuswalker6764 are u dumb?? Have u ever listened to any rappers?! Where in the world do u relate to every single word they say?
Hip hop is MORE than just being able to rhyme smh. The CONTENT is what makes a rapper great. Sales don't mean much since you can sell records without being all that great. Music is the only genre of entertainment where your success isn't directly correlated with your actual talent level. It's all about marketing.
@@bbalasevic look I understand you're in your feelings and probably didn't know shit about hip hop. There's a reason Eminem sells more than any other rapper and it's not because his music is so much better than any other rapper. He's definitely more talented than Macklemore but you can't deny the factor that race plays in both of their success.

He’s not wrong though
Lord Jamar, we have to disagree here. Eminem would still be top 10 all time even if he was black based off his skills. Now he would have never outsold 2Pac like he has, but he'd still be top 10. Being white does give him an advantage, but let's not act like he's garbage, dude is better than 95% of all rappers all time.
The problem is that black folk can be so passionate about their creations and preserving the roots of it all that we articulate our thoughts sometimes coming across as bitter. But there is nothing wrong with preserving roots of an art form or culture. There are so many moving parts especially when it comes to black history that it can be deeply complicated.

eminem and macklemore are both better than lord jamar. he feels threatened because he's irrelevant, vladtv is his only platform nowadays lmao!!
Lmao

Looks like somebody missed the point of the video.
MrReadyRok1 Its you're, and I'm gay because?

This comment section has more salt than the dead sea.
vlad feelings was hurt a lil bit I bet
Vlad like. i, i ,i kinda like eminem LOL
lol
I thought I was the only 1 who thought Vlad sounded offended.
LMAOOOOOOOOOOO Vlad said in one video that he has an Eminem shower curtain.SMH That would explain it all, not to mention his fruity ass fan base.
Thank you.
+il100374 One drop rule. google.
***** *mostly
***** Yet people from all backgrounds participate in it. A few black people started it and suddenly hip-hop is only black? That doesn't make much sense
+il100374 word.
I can respect this dude he's being honest. I don't necessarily agree with him but he's saying what he feels unlike some
LMFAO! 1:48 "I'll pull out your guts and I'll fucking eat and then I'll throw em back at you".
That right there though 😂😂😂 Jamar is the "get off my lawn" grumpy old man of hip hop and I'm here for it.
Dude would rather hear a black rapper say nothing but "nigga" in a song
"I'll pull out your guts and I'll fucking eat em and then I'll throw em back at you" Classic Eminem line
I, for one, don't want you jives 'snatching away' the white man's rightful property.
pop, mj
@@squarecracker This shows just how brian wash you Tamahu are when it cames to real stories vs his story. First advance civilians were of Dark Carbonated Beings. All music and instruments from the guitars, drums ect...created by these same people. The ancient Kemetes have drawings of the bulb use for electricity on their walls. Lewis Lattimer made the light bulb work. What Lord J is concern about is legit. The Tamahu are the only species on this planet that mimic...steal...then write and paint those that they learned everything from out of existence. No other species have done this. So 100 years from now...young folks will be told that the Tamahu created hip hop. We won't let you continue to lie about our culture and our many contributions to this world. Its old and we are learning the truth. So should you.
White people fuck with em heavily some people think he started rap
Ok so now all music is "black music" and no one is entitled to do music unless they are of black haratige.....I'll not deny the fact, yes black culture started the movment of most music generas, however to state that one culture has any soul claim to anything art form wise is a shame. Isn't it far better to say that black culture started music art form giving way for other cultures to embrace and even add upon. Certainly we should recognize that black culture gave us a great many gifts and we should be thankful..but to say you own it would be selfish. Art is universal and should be shared. Thats all im trying to say. You are entitled to your opinion but I just cant agree.

lololol
When people talk about Eminem why do they ignore songs like, White America, Mosh or yellow brick road. Also before Em was signed to Dre, Em had a lot more diverse rhymes and Dre was the one who picked those crazy tacks that Jamar is complaining about.
Ikr. Why Lord Jamar singling out some of his more violent songs? The most popular song he's ever made is Lose Yourself.
tochiRTA
If White America was dull it wouldn't be one of his most quoted songs. Em has plenty of songs with content, infact in the early 2k's he was one of the very few mainstream rappers with content.
THE ONLY SONG EM MADE THAT HAS SOUL IS "ROCK BOTTOM"....
tochiRTA
So what if its dull.
Name a Black rapper who talks about gettn fucked by his grandpa.

Eminem is the most overrated rapper ever
MrDidgy he's down with Eminem. No wonder
Cam was a lot more cynical in his rhymes than Em. Yet he fell off, but Eminem didn’t. Anyone who disagrees that Em isn’t one of the GOATs is just trippin’
Lord Jamar would be great at the Playa Hater's Ball.
Because he's the biggest hater ever when it comes to Eminem.
From Chappelle's Show. His homie Star was on it.
Keep it real for hip hop podcast should be jamar Chuck d
3:26 - Mark this moment down in history, Jamar actually gave Eminem some praise.
It's obvious Luke that you didn't read the previous comment that was directed to me. I was responding to being called a Nigga and a Uncle Tom.
A lot of underground rappers don't use the N-WORD.

He's absolutely right that rap is nothing without soul, and that skills only take you so far. And Eminem is the perfect example of someone who can rap but just isn't interesting (anymore).
Then why doesn't Jamar pick up a mic and go at Em?
@@SMALLTOWNREACTIONS Lol, thanks for responding to an eight year old post.
I don't think Jamar is a great rapper and I don't think he could challenge Em. But he can still be right in his critique nonetheless.

Well said
Don't speak for me....I am 34 and black. I've listened to Eminem since I was in 12....my favorite rapper of all time
So this guy doesnt relate to Eminem killing his girl and taking pills but can relate to another black rapper talking about killing people and smoking weed and selling dope? Ok...I see a HUGE difference, this guy just wanna segregate and claim hip-hop as a "black" thing when its really a CULTURAL thing. Em grew up with majority blacks and can rap better than most blacks. Why does race even matter?
Side note, can this Jamar guy even spit a 16 bar verse that can match Em?
Eminem is goofy as fuck...lil Wayne is coming bk for his throne with the Carter 5 and sorry for the wait 2
There is no soul in that shit, and he’s not a goat.
He is sooo jealous lol omg
Vodka with Bleach he's speaking the truth
nmessai215 I wouldn't say the truth completely, it's more of his opinion on the situation.
I mean I think he’s mad because a white person is better then any black person in the game
Kool G Rap disagrees with Lord Jamar. Nuff said!
I'm white and not a fan of Eminem. He can rap, but I don't consider him a great songwriter. I agree with what Lord Jamar says in a lot of these videos for the most part, but he needs to stop assuming every white person likes Eminem that much
Lord Jamar is like Lamar from GTA V, you don't need him in the Game
I agree with Lord Jamar.
"white people that do black music" k.
thats really how people think though.
Agree with the past albums but bet he can rip any of those other rappers in a beef battle with ease. He's ended/made people look like a fool.
twistedspectacle eminem lost battle before, and vinnie paz just can finish him with 16 bars
Leon Beazt eminem just a freestyler now, he cant be talking about nine inch nails in my eye lid anymore
I meant to say his 1st 3 albums was dope.
***** you could say that about 98% of rappers
Nick Pagano True.

I'm white and I fucking hate Macklemore, MGK, Mac Miller, but I LOVE Eminem. HOLY SHIT I just realized they all got M's in their names!
John Smith same
I hate when nobodies talk trash about greats just so they can get noticed.
Everything on the radio is trash because the music is designed to be catchy and simplified.
lmao you've never heard of lord jamar because your white smh
The Great One i'm hispanic and i think em is top 3.
Roy Amaru fucking racist immediately assuming shit fuck off
Dk Legend your mad because its the TRUTH 😭😭😭
Black rappers do not talk about TAKING PILLS???? I wonder if he actually listens to the music he speaks on.
***** Drugs are bad children. Mmmmkay
Listen carefully to what he said then speak
This is a hard opinion to agree with. I KINDA get where Jamar is coming from but I don't know. Em is one of the best ever. Timberlake, he got talent too. I sot of get where Jamar is going but Eminem's talent matches his success.
LMAO I WAS GOING TO DISLIKE THIS VIDEO READING THE TITLE , BUT HE HAS A POINT LIKE ALWAYS...... I AGREE 100 PERCENT!
I hear him but black rappers only talk about selling drugs and killing everyone in the hood and everyone is the biggest kingpin
Ur obviously a white kid who thinks hes black who listens to lil pump
@@gageblackburn5764 that is racist you dumbass
Cut the shit. That's ignorant as fuck. There are PLENTY of Black rappers talking about positive topics but the powers that be will not allow them to get their air time that they deserve. It won't get the rotations at radio stations because most young blacks can't relate to that positivity because of the conditions the VAST MAJORITY have to endure.
I agree 100% with this dude, I my like 4-5 songs but other than that I don't fuck with Em! Records sales don't mean shit! You telling me lil wayne is better than Rakim? guru? Lol
I totally agree!
I agree with you. Peace Bro.
Jay-Z likes him. DMX likes him. Charles Barkley said he was the best rapper alive a few years back
Charles Barkley doesn't count. I don't think I would even NAME him.
He's speaking the truth
He is so on point right now! If you don't understand, expand your mind, not to the negative but to the very valid solid points he is making.
This is like saying "asda chocolate and galaxy is the same because they are both the same colour"
This brother spoke the truth ... and people today hate the truth !
Tf nigga the only thing they have in common is that they're white. He doesn't talk about how there are so many black rappers with the same exact style.
I feel what Jamar is saying! I've been saying this shit for years!
I personally like Eminem but this guy has a point on some of the shit he rhymes about. And the whole mechanics thing
100% real rap, people my not like it,
but Jamar is speaking the gospel truth.
I like Em's rhyming skills and flow,
it doesn't stop the truth from being the truth.
That's false
Damn Jamar be taking the thoughts right out of my brain.
I heard that when Dre heard Eminem he liked what he was rapping about because he was white so he knew he could get away with what he was rapping about
so of course it's not something "black people fuck with".
I mean if he was rapping about things that black people rap about wouldn't people call him a poser and tell him to be himself
theosmelek1 are u smoking rock cuz?
***** lol moose isn't even talking to you
Truth has been spoken and no one could except it.
Hes a way bigger part of hip hop then youll ever be
No Jamar is actually respected. Eminem is a creation of the mainstream media
One of the few people that I've heard speaking about Eminem without being afraid of speaking their minds
You look no different than Redman, except you lack in every way unlike him.
Why does everything have to be about race or colour???? It’s 2020. Let’s focus on the talent and music.
But when’s the last time lord jamar had a hit?
I agree with him on Eminem being overrated but he lost me with the whole white dude shit.
Jake Peterson Only rappers I can think of being better than Em are Reggie and Nas. Maybe Face and Biggie (if he’d had a longer career RIP)
Haven’t listened to Pac much so I cannot judge.
🙄😒
Thought I was gonna hear wild shit from Jamar, but he spoke the truth. I can agree that Eminem is probably one of the best technical rappers ever in hip hop, but I never felt his stuff very much other than a couple songs here and there.
I don't think Jamar was being a hater but just speaking his opinion in a very blunt form.
Everybody Is Going TO Name Call And Troll But Nobody Can Prove What Lord Jamar Is Saying Is Wrong. Its The Truth And The Truth Hurts
If your gonna say eminem shud stay outta hip hop then you shud say rihanna shud stay outta pop
bitch mj own that pop shit, pop was more likely jazz back then mixed up with blues and shit, you can still listen to brown or ray charles or quincy jones some of theirs songs have pop rythm in them, wtf u saying
SaintSatansSoul
ummm.....ok
Johnson Taylor im black and my point was that if eminem shud stay out of rap then black should stay out of alot of things like basketball and nearly every sport. but i dont agree with that logic and think any1 can do wtf they want
lord jamar looks like megamind..
😂😂😂
Meth swallower .
pigskin
I'm so happy Em started dissing this guy!
Is tiger woods a guest in golf then ?
I love Lord Jamar cuz he's introspective, and tells it how he sees it; not worrying about what ppl will think. He's totally right! Eminem is lyrically gifted (technically), but the words and sound bytes are thrown together just to tell twisted stories. That's not impressive, that's just pushing buttons and eliciting a response. Plus, I don't like the way his voice sounds, or that angry tone he uses.
lets all be honest, eminem first 2 albums were classic everything after that was trash. he's put out twice as much wack material as good material.
First 3 were classic...encore he fell off
That's just a bandwagon comment man. I doubt you've listened to all his albums. Relapse, Recovery and MMLP2 all differ in sound, and are all skilled albums. Would be strange if you would believe 3 projects with different sounds to be wack, while it has skill.
Encore had some wack songs, most of the album actually was really good.
***** he;s put out twice as much wack material as good material.
tommybrown187
Explain how the albums are wack?
What makes Relapse wack, what makes Recovery wack and what makes MMLP2 wack?
***** can't prove the subjective. but th upvotes suggests many agree with my opinion. therefore, eminem has been wack since 2002
Lord Jamar is no different than MC Hammer.
