I live near Newcastle and about 3 years ago |I was cutting the grass, I bent over to empty the grass box and i suddenly got hit in the back of the head, I thought it was my mate carrying on! It was a Peregrine with a woodpigeon in its claws, laying at my feet, it let go and they both flew away! lol
I was working on the Ipswich Maternity block in 2019and was lucky to witness a pair that lived there joyess experience lucky to have been able to get some video, hope they are ok in 2024. precious birds ❤️ this is great thank you so xx
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful success story 🤗 I have been watching PF in Orange, Australia, but how fantastic to see them here in Scotland 😄 And very close to home 😉 Keep up the wonderful work you all do and I pray these four have successful fledges, stay safe, healthy and strong 🙏 Wishing they each raise strong, healthy families of their own 🤗🥰
This year, they built a nest box for them which they used and had I think two chicks. I'm a zoology student at the university and I've seen footage of them but never seen them yet myself!
What a lovely insight into the successful story of the Peregrines & continuing from Spingwatch program. The next time I'm in George Square I'll look out for them.
Magic ! . Guy said , a teatowel of the area with a Peregrin and family in the middle . RSPCB should sell this teatowel for funds . Thanks playmates . Dave
Ok, this is wonderful, but a problem. I work there. I just won’t stop looking at the skies now. And if I get to George Square, I’ll be looking for a falcon to go shopping for a family size pigeon!
Just fabulous to see all the hard work to enable these Peregrines and their family to survive to adults. I hope they return.

What a great success story, thanks for the news
i think there is a kestrel near Glasgow harbour! Saw it hovering for prey sometimes, once i even saw it dived at the turf right next to kurb!

Fantastic. I loved this video. Well done everyone and keep up the good work.
We've also had Peregrines nesting in Preston city centre in Lancashire for several years, it's magic watching and hearing them.
