The way he said "No matter what you do, no matter what I do, you're my brother" - something so simple but the message is clear - family is family. The power of his delivery was, without question, one of his best moments since his arrival in 2014 when he took over the role of Robert Sugden. Despite everything, Robert loves Andy and you know that very deep down, Andy feels the same. These episodes were incredible to watch.

I'm loving these episodes omg. I feel so proud of Robert right now (please soap gods keep it up) he's shown so much growth and I'm just. I don't care what anyone says, this just goes to show when it all comes down to it Robert is not evil. He takes things way too far sometimes but he has a heart and the bottom line is he has the ability to love, it comes to him naturally like saving Andy or protecting Aaron (swoon). I'm tired of "the good brother" troupe Andy has because it's not true. They are both equal and I think the show has finally brought them to that equal footing (well at least with each other I'm sure Diane & Vic will still think Andy's a saint eye roll). but at the end of the day they have both done horrible things to others and to each other but they both love each other a great deal because they are brothers by choice and that's just so powerful to me.

Robert was in a coma for a month, then in the hospital for another week or so. How could his stitches open up. You don't have stitches for that long and the skin would be healed enough after 5+ weeks to not break open.

jwsm2 Many many years without a break. I don´t know exactly. But she´s a secondary character anyway, so I guess they tend to use her for being bossy and naive and appearing here and there. Finn is used in the same way to some point, but he´s definitely not naive nor so basic. The total opposite actually, since he is the one among his brothers who is more aware of what his mum (she´s mental) can be capable of and often puts her in her place (I fear he´ll find his fate in his mother´s hands eventually when they decide it´s time for Emma to go full crazy-mode).

You have got to give Andy some time. Katie hasn't even been dead a year and I do believe that Andy just found out that Robert killed her and covered it up. Yes, the bros still love eachother and they always will and I do believe in the end, they will choose each other. I am so excited to see where this goes. I don't ship Robron but I am intrigued by Robert and I think he could definately grow to be an anti-hero of some sort. The villains on these shows are so much more well written then the villains on the American soaps. May ED have another thirty years on the air!

Robert was in a coma for a month, then in the hospital for another week or so. How could his stitches open up. You don't have stitches for that long and the skin would be healed enough after 5+ weeks to not break open.

jwsm2 Many many years without a break. I don´t know exactly. But she´s a secondary character anyway, so I guess they tend to use her for being bossy and naive and appearing here and there. Finn is used in the same way to some point, but he´s definitely not naive nor so basic. The total opposite actually, since he is the one among his brothers who is more aware of what his mum (she´s mental) can be capable of and often puts her in her place (I fear he´ll find his fate in his mother´s hands eventually when they decide it´s time for Emma to go full crazy-mode).

Wow! I can't believe how Andy just stood his ground and told Robert what he thought of him. Even though Robert realized in his mind that his family needs him but Andy didn't want him around be of what he did to Katie even if he pushed her and she fell through the wall. In a way I look at Andy and Robert who got away with murder and yet, Andy isn't willing to forgive him.
