I got a pair of ride fuse and I want to tighten them up after I've been wearing them for a week or so. especially the left one. will that thicker one do it? is it thicker than the stock one in there?. how many mm is that? oh yeah why is no plastic good? i thought the plastic under the heel was better for support or smthg, just sayin.
All are thicker but I would look at the Gamechangers or even better the Orthotic Elite Insoles as they are thicker than the LP here in the review. You can put a Heel Savior in the let too to rise up a touch higher.
@@thegoodridesnow Ok thanks! Are you saying both are thicker than the ride fuse stock insole? And are you talking about the kingfoam ones? Orthortic elite? I got a heel wedge in there now SVST and it's not enough for my odd left foot. Also are the gamechangers better than the remind?
@@thegoodridesnow They are squishy compared to the fuse stock insole or more dense?
All are thicker. Those stock ones are super thin. Only a few mm throughout. Check Footprints site you can see. They are all pretty thick. Up to 8mm. Yes Kingfoam Orthotic Elite. I think both brands do a really good job but I prefer Footprint. They have more options and are more customizable to each individual foot. You might want to get a shim then for your left foot to give you even more height www.tognar.com/ski-boot-insole-shims-pr/ or just cut out some boot fitting foam in the pattern of the factory insole and shove that in. www.tognar.com/ski-and-snowboard-boot-fitting-foam-10-x-10-with-seam/ Oh and to your last question plastic in the heel sucks. It adds a layer between the boots shock absorption and your foot. That whole gathering your foots skin/natural padding into a tight cup isn't anywhere as good as having good padding below instead of plastic. Having both is better.
More dense but not hard and very shock absorbent.
Do you know what the extra 2 small pieces are that come with the soles I don't know what they're for.
If i remember correctly its for extra heel lift and adds a little extra padding
fp gamechanger or remind medic impact?
Both are very good insoles. Like how the Remind feels softer but the FP heat molds/conforms better to my foot. Testing the new Remind's right now so hope to have a better answer in a couple of weeks.
Should have gone the the slim, guess my foot is a bit too tall for the originals. Too late for my upcoming trip but I’ll get the slims when I get back
Yeah the Gamechangers LP might work better for you than the Gamechangers. Did you heat mold? Sometimes that helps the Gamechangers better fit your foot in the boot.
You can cut the game changers down then?
Yep
@@thegoodridesnow cool! Appreciate the response!
